We enjoyed the stay very much and felt very comfortable in the cottage as well as in the large garden. Animals could be observed directly from the window. We would come back.

We really enjoyed our week at La Cabanette! The location is great, very quiet in the middle of nature, with a beautiful view of the lake. And yet, the nearest villages and many tourist destinations are quickly accessible by car or bicycle. If you want to watch birds, it is very worthwhile to bring good binoculars, because you can see a lot directly from the hut. We even saw bee-eaters and kingfishers (a telescope with a tripod was needed), and every day many species of herons and gulls, black-crowned night herons, black-winged stilts and of course flamingos. Every morning (very early, not for late risers😄) a hoopoe came to the terrace, and if you sat quietly, you could watch it from close up for a long time. Our children (7 years old) also loved the cottage and always found something to do there. We thank Virginie and Pascal for our wonderful stay!

A great stay. This place is really too cute, very well located. You can walk to the center. Really great. Very available host. I recommend 👍
