Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

The house is located in a secluded plot surrounded by woodland and with amazing views over the countryside. It has comfy beds, a modern kitchen with everything you need, a gas BBQ, a huge deck with outdoor seating and of course the lovely heated swimming pool. It is truly peaceful yet within an easy drive of Montignac with its supermarkets and riverside eateries. Saint Amand de Coly is a great base for exploring the Dordogne by car, with lots to see, visit and do within just half an hour’s drive and more further afield. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this super property.

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

We had a great family stay at Magali's. Very flexible and warm welcome, the house is really a gem in this very well maintained, equipped, swimming pool and garden without neighbors, provision of games… everything to have a good time! We had a wonderful weekend in this cottage. The place is really superb and exotic, the pool is very well maintained and all the amenities are present in the cottage. Viviane is adorable and responsive for any questions, I recommend for a weekend/holiday with family or friends!

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Debbie and Christopher are very hospitable people, the apartment is cozy and we slept very well! The swimming pool is ideal as well as the view of the valley, the welcome package was very much appreciated. We received information about the region and market days. Enormously enjoyed. Beautiful apartment, cozy terrace and super swimming pool. Swimming pool was very clean, as well as the apartment. Communication with the owner is very fast and very friendly. Provide tips in the area. There is plenty to do in the area and there is a market to visit somewhere within 40 km every day. Sarlat, Le Bugue, Domme, Le Roque-Gageac, Chateau Castelnaud and Chateau des Milandes were certainly worth visiting. In short, we definitely recommend this apartment.

we had a great week, tastefully furnished and very comfortable accommodation, nothing is missing and it quickly feels like home. a big thank you to Estelle for her kind attention, to Jean Baptiste for his welcome. Estelle is very welcoming, communication is very easy with her which is very nice nowadays. we enjoyed being welcomed by our hosts. haven of peace and tranquility we highly recommend the small accommodation and intend to come back.

This Airbnb is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The cottage is beautifully decorated , very romantic, with everything you could possibly want. The garden is also very pretty. Although it's only a 2 minute walk to a bakery, small supermarket and quite a few restaurants, it is in a quiet location. There is also a farmer's market on Monday mornings. We just loved everything. Chantal was extremely helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you so much Chantal for sharing your gorgeous cottage.

The house was well equipped, the area is beautiful. Aurelie and her husband responded super quickly to questions and problems were quickly resolved. The rooms are spacious and the house is quiet and easily accessible. The price/quality ratio is very good. In short, recommended.

Very good stay, the garden is beautiful and peaceful, the village is very cute 20 minutes from the Dordogne Valley. Jean Marie and Nicole are charming and hosted us very well.

Herve was a great host from booking to during our stay. He was informative, helpful, and super friendly. His house is beautiful, in a great location within the centre of Montflanquin. Just a minutes walk uphill to the square where some amazing restaurants are. The house had everything you needed. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, condiments, washing up facilities. Brilliant open dining/living area upstairs. Stairs are very steep, but we knew this beforehand. downstairs (ground level) is really spacious, plenty of hangers,wardrobe space. bathroom has a large area to store toiletries. would highly recommend Herve and his place. Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. We have just come back from a wonderful week at Jeanies Gite. We’ve had an amazing time and will be back. The location was idyllic. The accommodation was lovely. The pool was great. And Jeanie was so welcoming. We went to the Dordogne to sightsee but the Gite was so good we stayed there, other than a lovely kayak down the Dordogne. Thank you Jeanie, we will see you again. We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

You couldn't wish for a better host than Arnaud! Proactively check if everything is to your liking, or inform if help is needed. Via the app to respect your peace and privacy, but take the time for a conversation if you want. The accommodation is new and cozy with an eye for details. We felt right at home there! The thick walls keep heat out and you can have a good night's sleep in the lovely beds and good sound insulation. The location is conveniently located in relation to the many attractions in the area. Much has already been written about it in the introduction to Arnoud and Elodie, but if you want to swim in peace, relax on the side and lie in the shade under the trees with a catering facility, go to Pont de Vicq in Le Buisson de Cadouin. The town of Monpazier is also definitely worth a visit! Normally, supermarkets are miles away, but in this place, there is one 900 meters away. Arnoud, Elodie, thank you for the wonderful time!!

We loved staying in this charming, rustic and quirky gîte. The two terraces were perfect for dining, relaxing and enjoying the view. There is so much to do in the area we could definitely have stayed for longer. Brigitte is a lovely warm and welcoming host. Thank you Brigitte for a wonderful stay!
