Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cape Breton Regional Municipality

Sharon’s riverside cottage was a great end to our NS vacation. We spent many hours enjoying all the amazing seating areas on the property, but especially enjoyed coffee and meals down on the water. Sharon made us feel at home and was the most amazing host we’ve had throughout our stay. We would recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing location on Cape Breton.

The host was available and hospitable. We were a group of 7 and the house was perfect for what we needed. We loved our stay there and we will keep precious memories of this stay. I highly recommend!

John and Willemijn were very accommodating, respond very quickly and were helpful mentioning extra tips about the town. Place was super cute and cozy! Loved my stay!

Excellent place to stay in New Waterford before riding the Cabot Trail. Pool is heated and views are great. About 5 mins from town but most restaurants deliver - and the new pizza and bakery place is great. Karri & Corri were very responsive and had the place ready within 24hrs notice.

This is the 3rd year we have booked a 2 week stay at Carol Ann's property. This was for work and we had individuals in each of 3 bedrooms. Parking space and access was great for our needs. Other work teams at a different AirBnB came over several times and were envious of our facilities. Would certainly consider booking again for work and also for personal trips.

I booked in a staff member to stay here for 2 weeks while working on a job in Sydney. He said the accommodations were great, much better than staying in a hotel. Claudia was very responsive to messages, and she sent very clear instructions for check in. I will definatly book here again!

Our second time at the Farm House. Great spot for us to bring our pup along for the family trips. Would recommend 100%! See you next time!

Laura’s home was exactly as described, very clean and had all the amenities you need. It is in a beautiful picturesque bay with incredible views - so peaceful and a great place to recharge. There are several options to enjoy the outdoors from a screened sunroom to an outdoor deck to chairs on the dock or around the fire pit. We made a day trip to Louisbourg Fort which is very close by and definitely worth the drive. I would highly recommend this Airbnb. Thanks Laura!

I would recommend this location. everything was exactly as I expected. I felt very safe, relaxed, and comfortable here. Great location. It's a cozy apartment. Well priced. And the host was very responsive and helpful. Anytime we needed toilet paper, instructions, or fresh towels, Robbie got us what we needed. I would visit again.

10/10 experience. First time in Cape Breton and Sarah was so welcoming! The place was cozy and clean. I was welcomed with a bottle of wine, snacks and was offered dinner! The color coordination and home decor were absolutely stunning! Thank you Sarah for such a great experience !

Highly recommend this stay if you are seeking peaceful nature and a relaxing stay. Eagle flights and sunset sights. Don’t wait to book it, you will not regret it!

Centrally located. Well appointed. Warm and cozy

This home is above advertised,very spacious and CLEAN.Beds are comfortable,plenty of extra breakfast left out for us.The yards are yours to use,a walk down to the ocean to a bench swing that seats 3 adults easily or a few feet over a wooden deck with chairs on just to watch the happenings go by. Being only 30 min to the ferry this is really a great place to stay.

Very comfortable stay!!! Easy check in and a well setup kitchen. Everything I needed for week long stay in Sydney. They even ordered me some beautiful weather! 👍. Communication was on point. Thank you again, back in the spring!!

Mark was a phenomenal host; stopped by more than once to check in, say hello, ask if we had any questions or concerns and just chat! Wonderful and thoughtful touches around the cottage that we discovered throughout our time there. Location was a 10/10!! Large, beautiful yard atop lakeside where many fires were enjoyed. Close to lots of hiking trails, shops and quaint restaurants. Can’t speak highly enough about Mark, he even lent us a hiking guide book which we found very helpful and came by on our last evening to say a fair well. Thank you for everything!

We had a fabulous stay at this little cabin. It was absolutely perfect! Just as seen and described in the pictures. This little gem was just what we needed, peaceful surroundings enjoyed rest and relaxation. Thank you James for sharing your cabin with us, it was beautiful!

Absolutely lovely spot to stay. Very unique experience with picturesque surroundings. Seems very well managed with a very helpful / personable host. We could absolutely see ourselves selecting Sally's Brook again on another Cape Breton adventure. 100% recommend if your looking for a cabin experience!

It’s a beautiful spot. It’s quiet and private. We enjoyed the string lights that added a nice touch. The cabin was very cute and very comfortable and everything was super clean. There was a beautiful short walk down to the waterfront which was stunning at sunset and you could see up the coast and see the highlands which were also beautiful. All around it’s a beautiful spot that I’d definitely recommend.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic. The view from the property is beautiful and we throughly enjoyed watching the sunset from the patio each night. It was the perfect destination if you are travelling with a partner, friends or family. The neighbours next door are phenomenal people and the property still feels very private even though it is on shared land. The only thing that was more challenging was the access to the water. You have to climb down a bit of a hill to access the water since the stairs have been damaged from the winter. We were able to figure it out with a 3 and 8 year old in tow but it definitely took two adults to assist. My children did find that part exciting though. The beach is beautiful and rocky, so be sure to bring your water shoes. The cottage is beautiful and newly renovated. They make it feel like a home away from home. 100% would stay here again and we were very sad to leave when our trip ended.
