Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Amazing apartment and amazing host. The apartment on a next level its very clean and big and has all the things you need and more. The details of arranging the apartment was spot on. Addition to that the hosts were very friendly and helpful from the moment we reached until we left. The stay at Simone's was ideal for us. From the first contact, he was very helpful and flexible, which made everything easier for us. The apartment is perfect for those looking for comfortable, well-kept and quiet accommodation: everything was extremely clean and tastefully furnished, you can feel the attention to detail. The location was also perfect for us, as we had to attend a wedding in the area. In addition, arriving by car, we found the parking situation very convenient, directly in front of the house. We had a very nice stay at Roy's accommodation. Everything was as described and looked exactly like the pictures. The city center is easily accessible on foot and by bus. The train nearby was barely audible to us and therefore did not disturb us. Roy even provided his own little travel guide with some good tips and sights, which helped us a lot. We recommend the place with a clear conscience.

The place was well equipped and provided everything you need for a comfortable stay. The comfortable bed, the free parking directly at the accommodation and the good accessibility of Como - only about 15 minutes by car - were particularly positive. Communication with the host was very friendly and straightforward. There were occasional problems with the WiFi, but the host tried to resolve them quickly. Overall a nice stay - recommended!😊
