Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Capital District, New York

No notes, incredible escape even in the pouring rain. The ambience, even down to the little things like walking through the door to classical music, was truly top notch.

Overall a great stay! The home was beautiful and exactly what we needed. Elizabeth was also a great host. We’d be more than glad to visit again in the future!

What an excellent stay - this airbnb was incredibly well stocked with kitchen supplies, games, extra linens, really anything that one could want. Amenities were high quality and very thoughtful.

Beautiful space. Amazing countryside vibes. Fun hike down to the waterfall, great kitchen for cooking and a fun night in. There was lots of quaint stuff to do in nearby Middleburgh: thrifting, diners, 50s milkshake bar, antique book stores, hikes, breweries, and more. We loved that there was so many towels for the sauna and swimming. One note: give yourself a lot of time for the sauna to heat up. Instructions were clear and they gave us lots of local recs. Also LOVED the hammocks -- lots of cozy nooks to hang for a chill girls weekend. We might be back again! A great stay.

The flat was very clean and easy to find. Amy was very responsive and sent us a curated list of recommendations. We also loved the sauna, perfect for rainy days.

Had a great stay at this Airbnb—peaceful and scenic with an incredible waterfall right on the property. My dog had a blast exploring the trails and walking along the stream (I even braved a few cold dips myself!). Not much nearby, so it was a nice change of pace to cook and unwind—just be sure to check for ticks after those hikes!

We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was. We also loved the homey touches- the local books, the honor store out back, the fact that there was the cafe under the apartment. The setting was beautiful and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the brook and the spring peepers!

Cute room above the brewery was a nice get away for my wife, our little dog, and I. John was friendly and so were all of the other employees and guests. The Irish band was great and the patio by the brewery was very cozy the beers were also delicious too. The room itself was spacious and well furnished with a good size bed and additional day bed. Fun weekend get away for all ages.

Klara and Greg are a very engaging young couple who make their guests feel right at home. They have created exceptionally well appointed accommodation, which is extremely well equipped, and the decor is eclectic and interesting. Their garden is well maintained and full of interest. It was a delight to share this space with them and so many birds. We are happy to recommend the property to others. It stands in a small, quiet town surrounded by rivers, forests, lakes and waterfalls - perfect for exploring on foot, bike or car.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this small mansion! The property is beautiful—immaculately clean, cozy, and incredibly peaceful. A pinball lover’s dream! This Airbnb is full of quirky charm and rare titles you won’t find just anywhere—perfect for enthusiasts and collectors alike. The games played great, the decor was packed with personality, and the vibe was peaceful yet fun. Quiet, quaint location with a few great walkable restaurant options nearby. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and respectful of our space. We’d absolutely stay again!

My wife, dog, and I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Michael's place. The land is beautiful, the place itself is actually even nicer than the pictures, and there is plenty to do in the area. We will definitely be coming back!

The house is spacious and has four bedrooms, which really hosts a large family. It is very clean when checking in. Some amenities and utilities have age but they are super well maintained. I highly recommend this place if you just would like to have a stay when traveling in upper NY.

A really awesome place, ideal for relaxing and get energized without external distractions ! Limited network depending on your carrier, which was exactly what we were looking for! A bit chilly in mid October - as advertised - but Pam made everything to make sure we were comfortable ! I am pretty sure I will come back! We had a really lovely stay at this cabin in Boiceville. It rained every day during our trip, but honestly, we didn’t mind—it made the space feel extra cozy. We spent our time relaxing indoors, reading, cooking, and just enjoying the slower pace. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was tucked away enough to feel peaceful, but still a short drive to Esopus Creek and Phoenicia, which we enjoyed exploring when the rain let up. The host was helpful and easy to communicate with, and everything about the stay went smoothly. If you’re looking for a calm, quiet retreat in the Catskills—even on rainy days—this spot is a great pick.

We had a great stay fishing, walking and just relaxing. Did some driving to Speculator and Indian Lake too. Good plan when it’s buggy!

A wonderfully relaxing place to stay. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful, as is the bedroom with the view of the mountains. We plan to come back soon.

The perfect spot to be nurtured by nature! The sweetest cabin had everything we could need and gave us the ability to unplug, relax and rejuvenate. Loved being able to go hiking and just enjoy being outside.. surrounded by gorgeous nature. The babbling brook was so soothing. Honestly, just a perfect spot to enJOY!

Robert and Sandra were so helpful in making sure we were able to get the experience we were hoping for. The cabin is beautiful and we enjoyed looking through the photos of its construction. It was clean, comfortable, and very private.
