Cottage holiday rentals in Capitale-Nationale

Our stay at Alex’s place was wonderful. Six adults enjoyed our the absolutely charming house with plenty of privacy. Each couple effectively had a floor to themselves, but there were great spaces to be together as well. We were 15 minutes from old Quebec, 10 minutes from Montmorency. The house was perfect for our group, beautifully old world charming. Parking was easy and Alex’s communication was superb: he was very responsive and clear. I would not hesitate to stay there again. This chalet is ideally located in front of the river, with a very low traffic street at the front of the property. We loved watching the changes in the scenery over the weather and going for a walk on the beach. The cottage is very spacious, tastefully decorated and well-equipped.

Very nice house. There is only one bedroom with a door and privacy. But really perfect for a family. Very satisfied, thank you for having us!

I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. We felt so at home in their beautiful home and so appreciated their amazing hospitality. Thank you so very much. We will be back again and again!!!

Great stay as a family! The view is magnificent!

Lovely stay, very clean . We felt right at home and there were gorgeous views! It was slightly smaller than we expected but still a large space. Would book again!

Nice Cabin, we enjoyed our time there and it’s really cozy, something about the instruction, the Airbnb app showed us the wifi password and the key lock password are different than the message that the owner sent to us, that was a little bit confusing, lolll

This was my second stay at La Capitainerie, and it was just as pleasant and peaceful to be there! Vincent and Marie-Hélène are proactive and communicate all the necessary information before and during the stay. Their home not only offers a terrace with a magnificent view of the sunsets over the St. Lawrence River, but also everything you need to cook meals and entertain. They have a large collection of board games, books, CDs and DVDs. Perfect for rainy days!

We loved our stay with the family. The place was clean and welcoming. We had everything we had to have fun. We enjoyed the edge of the water and outdoor games. I would recommend this cottage if you are looking for tranquility and a warm place for your whole family (young and old).

Everything was perfect at Chalet le Shack! The space was exactly what we needed, the kitchen is well equipped, and very nice bathrooms with lots of towels! The location cannot be beat if you’re coming to cross country ski. Quick access to groceries and restaurants. We hope to come back again next winter!
