The apartment is fully equipped, has direct access to the bay and overlooking the blue Ionian Sea. Wrapped from the terrace surrounded by gardens full of native vegetation, the apartment has a kitchen, a bathroom and a double bedroom. Enriched by 60s and 70s family furniture, recovered and restored with passion and attention to detail. The strategic position of Stazzo allows you to easily reach points of interest such as Etna (46 minutes), Taormina (33 minutes) and the city of Catania (29 minutes). In the village, just a few minutes walk, there are two small supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, a bar, two restaurants and a pizzeria. On the second Sunday of August, Stazzo celebrates the patron saint, St. John of Nepomuk, whom the Church in the Central Square is dedicated. Throughout the year, the place has a magnificent landscape of sea, and in the summer relax on sunny days, remaining calm and smooth, and the color blue contrasts with the black volcanic cliffs.

Luxury flat in front of the sea

My accommodation is located in front of the sea, with a private access straight to it. 10 min walking from Acitrezza's town centre and 10 min by car from the city of Catania. It is close to a lot of seaside towns (Acitrezza, Capomulini, Santa Caterina), restaurants, bars and great views. Its position is perfect to explore the eastern Sicilian shore. Véronique is an available and responsive host. Interaction is simple, enjoyable, and efficient. The home, located in a quiet area, requires to have a car to get around easily. It's a great starting point to discover Catania, Etna or Taormina. Special mention for the pizzeria recommended by Véronique (the name unfortunately escapes me): we were welcomed there warmly despite the late hour, and the pizzas were simply excellent! The oranges in the gardens are delicious ( we picked 4 for the morning juice) . The accommodation is clean and has everything you need. Thanks again!

[Private Sea] Luxury Villa near Etna and Taormina

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Casamare. Dario was a great host and immediately made us feel at home. He was very flexible accommodating our changing check-in time as we weren’t sure exactly when we would arrive. Nevertheless he maintained great communication and was there with a friendly welcome (and some delicious almond biscuits!) when we arrived. The property was in a perfect location for us. In a quiet, private neighborhood 20 mins from Catania and overlooking the Ionian sea. It made the perfect home base as it was an easy day trip to places like Taormina, Etna, and even Siracusa. Also waking up to the view of the sunrise over the sea from the bedroom was a highlight. Overall the property was very clean and modern with tons of amenities. It was well-stocked and had everything we could possibly need. Unfortunately we only stayed a few days but hope to stay again soon as we didn’t have long enough to take full advantage of the endless amenities. Highly recommend!

The location was great you can walk to the little town if you don't mind the side of the road for about 10 minutes. But not to recommend with toddlers. Than take the car and park there. The little chiosco outside of the gate is a very good breakfast spot. But be there by around 8ish (opens throughout the week at around six) as otherwise the cornetti con chocolata might be gone. Sunday is granite day - also to recommend. The pool is very nice and clean - it would have been nice to have more info about when their bar is open, we would have made more usage out of it as the staff is very friendly. The apartment itself is in clean and good condition. The extra beds are ok, especially the sofa bed would need an upgrade as it is quite used. overall a very good stay with a friendly and very accommodating host!
