Holiday rentals with a patio in Cardiff

Booked last minute before the Newport Marathon and it was exactly what I needed. Ann was very welcoming and kindly left out coffee and juice to help fuel the run! The annexe is nice and private and has everything you'd need. Car/bus needed to get into Cardiff.

Great little place to stay. We booked the one with the private terrace which was perfect. Location is spot on too, very near town and only 10 minute taxi to the Bay. Annoyingly I didn't have time to use the shower but the bathroom was very tidy. Was quite weird that the door knew my name but also reassuring that we were in the right place. Not sure if I didn't read the info correctly but there is non permit parking that is quite reasonable right outside the property. I'd booked parking elsewhere but didn't need to. On busy days, it might be needed but we stayed on a week day. Definitely better than a hote and would stay there again.

Jolanta and I were only in contact via the messages. She is a likeable landlady and available at any time. Access to the apartment is via a key box - very easy to set 4-digit with number wheels. The apartment is very bright and friendly. It is very quiet at night (residential area). If you like to sleep dark, you have to take sleeping glasses or the like with you for one of the bedrooms, as the street lamp is very bright. It didn't bother me. The other bedroom is inside. If you are good on foot, you can reach the city in 20 minutes and Penarth Pier in a good 30 minutes. Penarth Pier is beautifully situated on Bristol Canal. You can also eat there. Cardiff can also be reached in a quarter of an hour by car. Cardiff Bay (port) offers many pubs and restaurants. You can also go for a walk there. If I go to the area again, I will definitely stay in Jolantas's apartment again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alison's - thank you for having us! The spacious apartment has obviously been recently furnished, and it was extremely clean. There was everything we needed, with a very comfortable bed with high quality bed linen. Thank you for the generous welcome basket, which was ideal for our breakfasts, and we enjoyed the biscuits too! All in all we thought it was excellent, and a great location for visiting St Fagans and our Cardiff cousins. Thank you very much to Alison and Luigi, and we hope to stay with you again.

Was such a lovely stay, probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in in Cardiff so far. Cathays station is a 15 second walk away which we got into town, so very handy. Everything was clean and lovely and great facilities :) Would definitely stay again ❤️

Aaron had made sure we had everything we needed including phone chargers which came in handy. The flat was very spacious, homely and well located. As a host Aaron was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall a great stay.

We spent just one night at Kay’s lovely apartment. She responded quickly to any questions , very clean, comfy bed and lovely decking over a very pretty stream.

We had a great stay at this apartment! The host was extremely accommodating and responsive, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The apartment itself was spotless clean, very functional, and surprisingly bright for a basement unit. We especially appreciated the spacious layout, the small backyard, and how well-lit it was throughout. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved the touch-sensitive table lamps—such a nice detail! The Wi-Fi worked perfectly during our entire stay, and we found the welcome pack really helpful, especially the manual for the heater, which came in handy during the night. The apartment is located in a peaceful neighborhood with beautiful houses and tree-lined streets. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the central rail station, which we didn’t mind at all. All in all, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

Just what we needed! Kitchen was well stocked with what you would need for simple meals! Coffee and tea provided!

A beautifully appointed annexe to Emma's home in a lovely area of Cardiff. Loved the decor and welcome touches such as cereals, milk etc. There is small train station a few minutes walk away making it really easy to get into the centre. We will definitely stay again.

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay the might before my wedding. Both lodges were beautiful and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Location is beautiful and Ginetta is a WONDERFUL host. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a perfect stay. Don't think twice about staying here, you won't be dissapointed xxxx

My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay , It was like a home 🏠 from home 🏡, very clean , Garden looks amazing 🤩 Beds most importantly very comfortable, Lynette a very responsive host ,great local walks, amazing mountain ⛰️ views from the windows and garden!we are definitely 👍🏻 coming back!! Lawrence was a super host. The house is spotless, a really cosy place to stay in. Couldn’t have asked of anymore from Lawrence in terms of communication. He was on hand if we needed anything or had any question. Would highly recommend

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

We stayed at Lyndon’s beautiful cottage for the weekend, which had fantastic access to the ICC Wales, where myself and my friend were competing (ATHX). The perfect spot to relax - we loved the bbq and the added little touches! Thank you!

Great place to stay within short walking distance of the Bay. Big 3 bed location with all amenities required. Instructions were clear and host responsive. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Absolutely loved this air BnB Gill was extremely helpful and the cottage was brilliant Loads of room Very comfortable with stunning views Enjoyed my visits from Bella the cat too and the horses over the gate I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again highly recommended

The communication from booking to leaving was fantastic. The flat is spotlessly clean. A lot of thought has been put into it too make guest extremely comfortable. It was great sitting on the large veranda area in the evening as the sun went down. By far this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in. We will be booking again and again. It was compact as described, very new and clean. We got great sleep and appreciated being able to park our rental car in the drive.

A great place to stay so quiet it is a good walk into town but a bit of a hill on the way back,but all in all host very attentive definitely would stay again

We had the most wonderful stay with Mags. The house is stunning, surrounded by the most beautiful landscaped gardens. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong in the morning. The property itself is cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We slept great and the shower is excellent! Lastly, Mags was the cherry on top. She was kind, attentive and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, albeit we only stayed for one night. One of the best Air BnBs we’ve stayed in - we hope we can find an excuse to come back again. Brava!

Claire is very helpful and responsive. The place is in a great location, bus stop just around the corner and so many restaurants around. The place has iron hairdryer towels etc everything that you need. Even portable fans which is helpful in this weather. Would recommend this place !!

Great place and wonderful host. Excellent communication throughout stay. Very close to principality stadium and Cardiff city centre and also provides free parking in the city centre which is a big plus
