For a stay in Normandy, this is the ideal rental, located between Mont St Michel, St-Malo on one side and the landing beaches, Caen, Deauville, Etretat etc. on the other. Philippe welcomed us upon our arrival with kindness, a small bottle of cider in the fridge as a welcome. He listened to us in relation to what we wanted to visit and sent us good detailed addresses throughout our stay on the different visits and dining places and various things to do in the area. We had an amazing stay at Regine and Eric’s idyllic property, they could not have done more to make us feel welcome. The property is bursting with character and has all necessary facilities. The grounds are beautiful and the swimming pool was the icing on the cake. We can’t wait to return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Céline and Stéphane's house matches the description. Due to the weather, we could not make extensive use of the garden, pool and the available offer, bicycles, boules court, deck chairs. The pool was kindly already heated, you could swim relaxed. We were satisfied with the stay and the interaction with Céline, wishes (heating) were immediately fulfilled.

Extended weekend at the top, with equipment suitable for the whole family. I highly recommend it for families or friends. relaxation and greenery guaranteed, with the sea 15 minutes away by car.

The accommodation was impeccable. We stayed there with our 2 children who slept in a pull-out bed. We had fresh air in the house despite the heatwave. Very friendly hosts.

Beautiful house with stunning views. Superb decoration. Extremely well-equipped house with all the comforts for a memorable stay. "The Sound of the Waves" is aptly named. A true haven of peace. Great hosting by Florence who will give you plenty of good advice (remember to follow her instructions for access to the house!). Excellent welcome for dogs which is a big plus for me. Idyllic setting, 🤩a more than relaxing stay. It's green, it's calm, it's the perfect place to disconnect... It's a treat to cycle along these little country roads. Accommodation as described, perfectly equipped and impeccably clean. Recommended 👍

Stayed here for the 2nd time and it remains an absolutely wonderful house. Great view where you can quietly see the tides of the sea come and go in absolute peace. Regardless of the weather, this is a fantastic house, in nice weather on the terrace and with some rain a block of wood in the stove and nice in the living room stay.

House faithful to the photos published, very clean, very pleasant. The garden was also very popular with our 2 dogs. There are many things to do and see in the area and we will happily return to Veronique's.

The house right on the sea was overwhelmingly beautiful. Very tasteful and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped from A as Austernbrecher to Z as Zitronenpresse, everything there to cook extensively. Internet super fast ! Sufficient thought was given to sockets and strips to charge electronic devices comfortably. The pellet stove is easy to use and brings a cozy atmosphere when it storms and is cold outside. The surroundings are wonderful for hiking and cycling. Small supermarket in Quinéville. Other good shopping in Quettehou (also great organic shop!) An unforgettable vacation!

Great comfortable stay, location was an excellent base for visiting D Day, WW2 Normandy sites and local cultural attractions. Martine was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Gite is in a lovely quiet location and is well serviced with a good well stocked supermarket less than 10mins drive away. Would recommend.
