Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Carouge

I spent about a week in this charming functional accommodation at the foot of Mont Salève. The place is quiet and restful and the hosts welcoming, available and accommodating if needed, thank you to them. I will happily return to (re)discover this beautiful region that I love very much.

We had a great stay! The accommodation was clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped. The location is ideal, quiet while still close to amenities. The host was very responsive and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We'll be happy to go back!

Maria and Jean-Marc are very welcoming and very open hosts without being stingy with practical information. The accommodation matches the description of the listing exactly and is very functional. A jewel by a running river where you can cool off in between exploring Annecy, Chamonix or the local mountain villages. House is perfect! An authentic watermill with a completely enclosed beautiful garden next to the river. The village of Frangy has everything including Boulangerie, fromagerie , local winery and authentic farm restaurant serving delicious meals with in and outdoor seating to watch the world go by. Beautiful walks to nearby waterfalls from the doorstep: highly recommended!

The accommodation is sublime, Gérard is very accommodating and full of good advice, the environment is sublime and peaceful. Our stay of a few days has been most relaxing and pleasant, we can only recommend.

Very nice and newly furnished apartment - everything we needed was available. Very nice balcony with a view of nature, very good for switching off. Geneva and Yvoire are within easy reach of the apartment. Simple and fast communication with Eva. We will be happy to come back :)

Laura and Morgan are exceptional hosts and do their best to foster a pleasant stay for guests. We particularly appreciated the calm of the building with 2 bedrooms on the courtyard and an equipment "like at home". The proximity to shops on the main street including a small Intermarche and an excellent butcher as well as 2 bakeries. The bedding is new and the electric blinds allow you to sleep very well. If we have the opportunity, we will be back with great pleasure and with peace of mind because renting to particularly friendly and available hosts is really a plus. The private parking (100 m secured by an access with a specific badge)with a dedicated space is really a plus given the works undertaken by the municipality to make the main street of the city center pedestrianized as well as the one where the apartment is located. A beautiful and peaceful place in a charming small French town - well worth the stay! It’s an easy drive from Geneva airport; we hired a car and enjoyed day trips to Chamonix and Annecy. There’s a lovely hiking area just steps from the Airbnb, and the surroundings are stunning. No air conditioning, and we happened to visit during a heat wave, but it wouldn’t stop us from coming back.

Renata is honestly the most wonderful host we have had on Airbnb. Incredible communication and fantastic tips. The accommodation itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated with a lot of little attentions. Surroundings are incredible too. Little gem with wonderful hosts, a short ride away from Geneva, and in the lovely town of Nyon. A must ! We will be back for sure.

Our stay was just perfect – this Airbnb exceeded all our expectations! The accommodation was not only immaculately clean and stylishly furnished, but also extremely well equipped. You can tell that we worked here with a lot of love for detail. The sauna and the jacuzzi are particularly noteworthy - both absolute highlights that made our stay even more relaxing and luxurious. The host was incredibly friendly, helpful and available at all times. The location was also ideal – very quiet and perfect for relaxing, yet shopping facilities were easily accessible. We felt completely comfortable from the first moment and would have liked to stay longer. Very clear recommendation – we will definitely be back!

Very responsive host (Small problem dealt with almost instantly!) with good communication. Clear instructions to get in. Central location that was also quiet . Easy to walk to local restaurants ( good recommendations from host) even with my crutch ( notes there is 2 flights of steps to flat) Immaculately clean & well presented studio flat. We didn’t do any cooking but simple hot plate & microwave, fridge & Nespresso coffee machine. Hot shower.

We had a wonderful stay at Ivanka's condo. We were looking for something serene and peaceful, and we found exactly that! You have an amazing view of the lake and surrounding mountains, and the huge balcony allows for a total submersion into the surrounding nature. I particularly enjoyed the hanging chair on the balcony. We also really appreciated that we had everything we needed; we did not have to want for anything. The space was spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked. Ivanka was also extremely responsive, always under 10 minutes, and this was so lovely. She gave excellent suggestions and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Ivanka!

Thank you for your hospitality, kindness and all the attention to make our short stay go well. It was a small stop for a single night on the occasion of a wedding but given the location it would be perfect for a longer stay.

Thierry’s place was amazing! Everything was very well prepared and Thierry was very quick to respond to any questions that came up. We had a little trouble finding the place and Thierry came and met us and showed us where to go. Thierry was a fantastic host! The view from the house is so beautiful! Pictures don’t quite capture it. Kitchen was well equipped and showers had great water pressure. The place does not have A/C (which we were aware of) but even with the fans it was still quite warm due to the hot summer temperatures we had during our stay. This is not a complaint, just something to be aware of. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality Thierry!

Great stay and highly recommend.

we were blown away by this place - the view is absolutely amazing. the house was spotless and very well equipped. the nearest village was an 8 minute drive, and there is a market on on Saturday mornings. annecy was around 30 mins drive into the centre. the host was very good at communicating and also gave us our space which we appreciated- also very accomadating as we were travelling with a baby they kindly let us check in a little earlier. the only thing I would give as feedback to the host, there is no shade in the garden, and as we were blessed with gorgeous sunshine throughout our stay, we enjoyed eating our dinner and letting our baby play outside - maybe an umbrella or parasol over the decking would be an added touch. overall wonderful stay and would 100% recommend.

I would highly recommend to anyone to book this place 😊 its so lovely 😍 the garden is stunning and the hosts are very nice. perfectly situated to visit all the local areas have to offer. amazing!!!
