Three friends of mine and I stayed at Nicola’s house and enjoyed the company of the donkey called Dolly in the backyard very much. The description and pictures matched perfectly with what we found, the house is very well equipped. Nicola’s house situated perfectly for walks and hiking, just short distances by car to nearby spots. We would love to return one day and felt very lucky to have found this gem.

We loved Marita's log cabin. It was clean, comfortable and great facilities to allow basic self catering. Marita was very kind and met us at checkin, though we had a contingency if we arrived when she was away. The place was spotless. Nice sheltered spot outside to take meals. The shower was great. kitchen equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave and air fryer. Leaving items for breakfast and treats was a lovely touch. A great location to explore the Western shores of lough Derg. We visited Wastelands, Wilde Chocolate, Portumna Workhouse, Castle and Gardens. Finishing our road trip at the swimming area. Marita's place is highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Sinead and Kieran. They were easy to communicate with, friendly and helpful. The cottage was in a great location within an easy walk to the Thatched Cottage restaurant and an easy drive to surrounding attractions. It was in a scenic and peaceful environment. I would certainly recommend a stay.

What a gem. Tucked away in a beautiful part of the country. The cottage was perfect and much bigger than we had expected. Margaret was very hospitable and we enjoyed our chats with her.
