overall the stay was great. if you're a solo traveler this is perfect. i loved the outside shower, not sure what you'd do in the winter. it says no hot water on the listing but there is hot water. there's also an electric kettle and spring water available which was awesome for me. my one complaint is that it does say wifi but the wifi was totally unreliable. as someone who makes part of their living with remote work, this was almost devastating financially. luckily i had no pressing deadlines. i don't normally complain about such things but it's just been a thing the past few months with some places I've stayed. overall, it was quite a beautiful retreat. i loved the chickens. Maka was so nice and welcoming.

Marfa’s place was perfect for our little getaway with some friends to visit a wedding venue. Very nice patio that we enjoyed with the beautiful weather. We will likely return to the area and hope to book here again!
