Beautiful Airbnb right in the middle of Lagos, but far enough off of the main drag so it’s nice and quiet at night. Easy parking nearby and just steps from the beaches and restaurants. Maggie was communicative and helpful, and check in was very simple. Wonderful experience.

We spent 8 wonderful days in the villa "Casa vista do mar" - a real paradise. You immediately feel comfortable, surrounded by pure nature with breathtaking views. The vacation home is well equipped, nothing is missing. Thanks to Tobias' directions, the journey from Faro airport was easy. Andrea was at our side on site and provided us directly with information about restaurants, shopping and excursion destinations. We were able to unwind wonderfully and recharge our batteries. The tranquility, the view and the loving care made our stay unforgettable. We recommend this holiday home without reservation and already know: We will come back! When searching Airbnb for a place to stay in Portugal, Pedro’s property stood out. From our initial enquiry to the day we left Portugal after our 14 night holiday, Pedro was fantastic, always in contact with helpful information or to answer any questions we had. Our stay in Portugal was made more memorable because Pedro was our host and we highly recommend him and his apartment

Absolutely stunning location, absolutely nothing default, the only thing I would say is if you have mobility issues both the walkway up to the property and the stairs to the mezzanine bedroom could be a little bit challenging especially if you’ve had a few drinks, we are in our 60s and generally fitso it was no problem for us.

Beautiful property, and very beautiful room/loft. Relaxing surroundings, very peaceful during the day, nice pool, we were able to swim during the end of May. Host was helpful and responsive. Wish we planned to stay longer!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mónica and Carlo’s place! We were so close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There was so much to do within a few minutes walk. The house was even better than the pictures and Monica and Carlo’s reached out throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, great house and hosts. Would love to come back again!

Just had a 12 day break at Villa Charme and it was a dream stay. Pictures don’t do the Villa justice. Beautiful pool that the kids (young and old) loved and lots of outdoor space. Fernando was a wonderful host - friendly and knowledgeable and always available to help. We absolutely recommend a stay here - you won’t be disappointed. Lynette

Cláudia is such a kind and warm Person. We immediately felt at home. The Interieur is lovely and detailed, the view is stunning. She was very easy to reach if questions came up and super helpful with recommendations. We felt very welcome and will surely come back :) - the Cats were a super cute plus. We felt very comfortable in Tony's studio. Everything was freshly renovated and very clean. The bathroom had a comfortable large shower. Especially the large terrace, where a fine breeze brought coolness in the afternoon, and the pool were the highlights of the studio for us. The contact with Tony was great. He responded immediately, so we felt well taken care of here. The studio was in a quiet environment. From here, we were only a few steps from the lake Walk and the Centrum. In short, we were very satisfied and would be happy to come back.

This was the perfect home base for our Algarve stay. We were steps away from the local beach, and within walking distance of a few great restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay.

We loved our stay at Claudia’s! The bed was very comfortable, the roof terrace had a great view and the area was very peaceful. Walking to the beach was easy, as was walking to restaurants! We would definitely come back and would recommend

The property (we were there 18 nights) is actually located in Luz, not in Lagos, which is 3-4 miles away. That worked out well for us. Luz offers newer and larger accommodations for more reasonable prices than Lagos. We had a beautiful two bedroom penthouse with floor to ceiling windows offering great views of the Atlantic. The beach is a short walk. At night, it is quiet. A market is close by. There are a couple of good restaurants close by. The beach was nice and was actually more convenient than getting to the beach in Lagos. It was no problem getting to Lagos if you want to dine out. We had a car (10-15 minute drive) but taxis, Uber and public transportation is also available. We never met Ben, but he was very prompt in answering our every question. The apartment was clean, up to date and comfortable. We would stay there again.

Terrys condo in Carvoeiro was great, the apartment is really spacious and has everything you need, plus a little pool in the garden for cooling off (perfect for our young baby on hot days). There is so much within walking distance from here which was ideal for us with a pram - the beach, multiple restaurants, tennis courts (or pickleball if you fancy it), supermarkets and cafes. Terry was so helpful and welcoming even before we arrived. He greeted us for check in, which was very kind considering we had a late flight. Due to our flight getting in at around 10pm Terry offered to get us some supplies from the supermarket in advance since everything would be closed once we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, and he is super knowledgable of the area. Couldn’t fault the apartment or Terry, highly recommend.

Our stay at Helia’s place was wonderful! The space was clean, located near local beaches and attractions, and provided an overall experience that exceeded our expectations.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Ana’s place felt like a home away from home, we absolutely fell in love with it! The view from the balcony is just unbeatable, even on a cloudy day we enjoyed spending the day there. You have all the amenities you could need for a few days, and the apartment was just spotless! Communication was easy both with Ana and Joao, they were really helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend the place, and would definitely book again!

Excellent Airbnb! We wanted a more quiet location because we also had a car and this was perfect- ample parking and across the street from the most beautiful, calm beach. The actual apartment was perfect, it looked just like the photos and the AC worked perfectly! The washer was so handy to do mid trip laundry and there were two dryer racks. Carolina was such a great host and easily accessible. It was the perfect home away from home

We had a fantastic week at Anita’s apartment in Praia da Rocha. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome – Anita and Antonio had left a generous guest pack including ham, cheese, wine, milk, water, biscuits and crisps, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch after our journey. The apartment itself is bright, spotless, and has spectacular views across the beach – which, pleasantly, wasn’t too busy during our stay. The location is excellent, with a great selection of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Anita and Antonio were outstanding hosts – friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure their guests have everything they need. Their detailed information pack was really helpful, and they were always quick to answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment – it’s a perfect base for a relaxing stay in Praia da Rocha. Thank you, Anita and Antonio, for your warm hospitality and kindness!
