This period holiday cottage is in the old stable block of Carrowkeel Glebe House and was the first part that we renovated it a few years ago. It is on the Mulroy Bay side of Fanad with Murrin hill to the rear. Conveniently located just 1 mile from Tamney (Tawny) village and 3 miles from Portsalon, with Ballyhiernan, Ballymastocker and Drumnacraig beaches all within 10 minutes drive. Min 3 nights stay. A log cabin for two on a quiet smallholding above Mulroy Bay, named for Davey John's eldest daughter, Margaret. Chalet warmth with a darker, more textured palette: a heather feature wall, a navy velvet sofa, a McNutt of Donegal tweed headboard. The covered deck has a private hot tub that looks straight out across the bay. There's a hot-stone sauna kept just for our guests, and a games room across the courtyard. Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
