Holiday rentals with a patio in Castel Gandolfo

From the moment we stepped into the place it felt very cozy. In a very quiet neighbourhood and as mentioned, a minute walk to the bus stop to take you to the city of Ancient Rome. Places to eat nearby as well. The highlight of the place was the spacious outdoor patio, where we took nap each afternoons. The place itself was equipped with nice comfy bed, kitchen with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove where we made caffe every morning. The bathroom was nice and clean, we had one minor issue on day 1 but Apollonia and her partner came over right away at night to fix it and now that is going above and beyond to provide an excellent service. Grazie Mille :) Again, I can’t emphasize the Catello home, would definitely recommend this place and will book it again without any hesitation.

Flott sted, som virket nytt, stort kjøkken, stort soverom og deilig bad, samt en god spiseplass pluss sofagruppe. Metro rett i nærheten, og spisesteder rundt leiligheten. Det eneste lille var at aircondition fungerte noe svakt, men det kan ha vært meg som ikke fikk stilt inn den riktig? Fine uteplasser, og området rundt var rolig og autentisk!

Casa excelente! Estava conforme descrito no anúncio, possui muitas facilidades que tornaram a estadia muito agradável. Gianluca foi extremamente simpático e acolhedor. A casa fica um pouco afastada do centro de Roma, mas fica bem perto de uma estação terminal do metrô linha A e tem ônibus direto até a estação. Melhor custo-benefício já que neste ano de jubileu tudo está muito caro em Roma. Na rua principal tem várias facilidades, restaurantes, sorvete, mercado próximo… Minha estadia foi em junho, próximo ao inicio do verão, e a casa recebe sol da tarde, porém havia ventiladores disponíveis e as noites estavam agradáveis. Foi uma ótima experiência. Grazie mille Gianluca!

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into Sylvia's beautiful family. They were a delight, making sure I had everything I needed, was fed and comfortable. Although it was a studio room, it was very large, so I did not feel at all that I was in my bedroom all the time. There was beautiful Italian linen on the bed, and lovely hangings at the window. There was a screen on both the door and the window so I could have the window open at night without those dreaded mossies coming in. The views from the studio are stunning and I loved having my morning coffee in the chair outside my door, with the donkeys and dog keeping me company. Their own olive oil in the kitchen was a real treat. I took advantage of both Sylvias airport pickup and her fathers tour round the old town...so wonderful to see. The drive is very steep, but walkable, but I never wanted to leave. It was magical and I loved my stay. I had come specifically to work and there was a good table and great wifi connection.

Gregory’s apartment was such a great place for our family of 4. The apartment was just as described and very clean. It was extremely private and very secluded, it was easy to sleep in though with the room darkening shutters! We didn’t mind! The apartment had everything we needed including in unit laundry. The kitchen was very functional. We loved the terrace! Gregor was very responsive and accommodating. He even let us stay and extra hour so that we didn’t have to wait at the train station on our way out. A moments walk from attractions, cafes, grocery stores, pharmacies. A wonderful hidden gem in the heart of Rome. I hope we can return someday. Thank you, Gregor!!

This might be the best Airbnb I’ve ever been to. Claudia was super responsive and helpful, it is located right on the bus to FCO, perfect for both spending a night before or after a flight. Check in was smooth, and the host kindly leaves snacks, toiletries, yogurts, and tons of hot drink options in the kitchen for the guests to use - absolutely perfect. I highly recommend

Wir hatten sehr schöne drei Tage in Rom. Giorgia ist super sympathisch, antwortet schnell und hilft direkt, wenn es Probleme gibt. Ihre Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich, genau wie auf den Bildern zu sehen und liegt optimal, sodass man ganz einfach mit Bus und Bahn ins Zentrum von Rom kommt. Alles in allem sind wir sehr zufrieden und geben unsere besten Empfehlungen!

Daniele stands out as one of our best hosts and this place is a hidden gem. Super close to a locals beach that is beautiful. Food is great in the neighborhood and easy to catch a flight out of FCO.

Mia mamma ha soggiornato nell’appartamento di Gabriele per 12 giorni. Non avremo potuto chiedere di meglio. L’appartamento è stato da poco completamente rinnovato. Luminosissimo e splendidamente arredato. Dotato di una terrazza con vista acquedotti romani meravigliosa. La casa pulitissima è dotata di tutti i comfort. I proprietari sono stati semplicemente deliziosi, sempre disponibili e gentili. Consiglio a tutti di soggiornare in questo appartamento! Noi faremo ritorno in autunno!

The apartment is spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Romano is a very responsive and a great host that will go out of his way to accommodate any requests. The apartment is situated in a quiet neighborhood that let's you experience everyday Roman life, which I found very interesting. There are a couple of shops and restaurants nearby, and the bus stops that take you to the Metro lines and the city center are very close to the apartment. All in all, a great experience.

Amazing place if you have good energy to climb the 4th floor with luggage and no elevator. But this is a good price for being in the center of Rome and very old historic neighborhood. Rooftop patio is a real gem, but again not for people with physical disabilities. We spent amazing time there!

What a terrific experience from the beginning to the end- from a wonderful responsive host to an adorable apartment in a cutie little beach town community of Ostia-that my kids and I fell in love with. Friendly people all around, great food, beech 8 min away by a walk… the apartment is so cozy, beautifully decorated and upkept- I was so happy about the amenities. We loved our stay in Valentinas apartment. Valentina allowed us to stay at number 3 (rather than nummber 5) due to less steps. We were absolutely thrilled with the location, the view and the apartment. Our purpose to stay in Genzano for more than a month was to 'live like a local' and this apartment allowed us to do exactly that! Very close to restaurants coffee shops, supermarkets and the main street. Highly recommend staying here!

Tuvimos una estadía cómoda y tranquila. Todo limpio y equipado con todo lo que alguien que esta buscando como para sentirse en casa. Si bien queda a 1 hora de viaje de Roma el acceso es fácil desde la estación Termini desde donde se toma el metro para hacer todo el recorrido turístico. También hay opción de acceso en bus. Buena relación costo-beneficio. Los anfitriones muy atentos.

This place was exactly what I hoped it would be. It's perfect for one or two people who want to be close to the historic center of Rome and near some good restaurants. I heard little outside noise, and I always felt safe in the unit and in the neighborhood. The hosts had cleaned the unit well - I saw no dirt when I arrived. I also used the washing machine and drying rack routinely because clothes get dirty quickly on hot Roman summer days. The hosts treated me with courtesy and respect at all times. I would happily stay here again!

Wonderful apartment in a perfect location! Just a 10-minute walk from the train station, yet situated in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Most of Rome’s main attractions — the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Spanish Steps — are within easy walking distance. There’s even a Big Bus stop nearby, which was very convenient for exploring the city. The apartment is well-equipped with everything you might need, including excellent air conditioning and two beautiful terraces with charming views over the rooftops of Rome — a lovely place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Having both a washing machine and dryer was especially helpful during the hot weather. Communication with the host was smooth and check-in went perfectly.
