Holiday rentals with a patio in Castelmola

Perfect location to explore Catania and the surrounding beauty. We managed to find free parking all of the nights we were there but the location is a little busy and not for drivers that aren’t comfortable with aggressive driving. The apartment was very spacious and the neighbourhood had a lot to offer.

Fabio's place was fantastic. The view is unbeatable. Parking, walkable into town and the view, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our stay. My partner and I were traveling around Sicily for a few months, and my dog needed emergency surgery, and Fabio's place was the perfect spot for us to unwind, relax, and the views made it a great place to nurse our little pup back to health. You need a car here, and the location is only 15 minutes outside the city of Catania, perfect launch pad to explore the surrounding areas. Although, we didn't get to meet Fabio, he was always a text away, checking in on us, making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend. I should also note, my partner and I work remotely, and he was so gracious to add a desk and chair so we both could work comfortably, with the beautiful views. We will for sure be back! Amazing modern apartment with a private beach! Very light and well-equipped. The highlight for me was the huge terrace, where I spent most of my time relaxing. The apartment is well located, with easy access to major tourist spots like Etna, Taormina, and Siracusa. There are plenty of cafes and bars nearby, and the best pastry shop in Catania is just a 10-minute walk away. Giuseppe and Valerio were incredibly responsive and friendly hosts. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Nice Place, Terrace at sunset was amazing

Great Host! I asked for a recommendation for a guide to Hike Mamma Etna and she had an awesome contact. The safe for a wine tasting vineyard. Really helped us to maximize our trip. They have a preprinted guide of the area wit restaurants and other local activities. They also advised using the bus to go to Taromina which worked out great! Great support aside from just providing a place to sleep.

Cannot recommend highly enough! This apartment is an oasis with easy access to Taormina on foot. The view is phenomenal, the apartment itself is extremely high quality and quiet. Our family of 5 was very comfortable. The AC blows cold and every detail is thought of. We loved having the pool, the location, the comfort, the terrace and view and all of the amenities as the ending of our trip to Sicily! Thank you!

Overall we had great time in Taormina! The apartment was very clean, comfortable and hot far from the town center. The only issue we had was going uphill several times a day to get to the center. But on another hand, we had a good work out every day. If going up the stairs for 10 minutes is not an issue, this place is perfect!

We stayed at the apartment for 2 weeks. It's a lovely apartment in a beautiful location with great views. Giardini Naxos is a lovely place with lots of restaurants and good beaches. The apartment overlooks the beach and is a 5 minute walk into town. The apartment is really spacious with a fantastic terrace. It has everything you need to be self sufficient. We used the local buses to go into Taormina, well worth a visit. Viviana was so helpful and arranged an early check in for us, which we really appreciated as we had travelled down from Rome on the overnight train. I would highly recommend this apartment and would stay again. Many thanks

This place exceeded our expectations and was one of nice surprises of our trip. The place is modern, clean, spacious and has a fantastic view. The location is extremely convenient for exploring Taormina. It was also very close to a supermarket. The hosts were very helpful. The only thing to consider is that there are a lot of steps so it would not be good for someone with mobility issues. Besides that, I highly recommend. Excellent value

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful place. Great view from the balcony, a private oasis from the craziness of Taormina, yet only being a couple of minutes walk from the centre was amazing. Pool was great, kids didn’t mind it being a little chilly in April. Even got to see Etna erupting whilst staying (from town centre not our balcony). Cannot recommend more highly.

Conveniently located close to the main area and easy to access from the airport via public transport. Very authentic Sicily - the place came with great recommendations of places to go and foods to try. I very stupidly left some jewellery in the apartment and realised about half way to the airport. It had no monetary value but extremely high sentimental value - Claudia was so helpful and was able to get it from the cleaners and send it back to me!!! I am forever grateful!!! Some things to note regarding the apartment: 1. There are a few flights of stairs to tackle to get up to the apartment. 2. on the first night we stayed the noise from the bar next door was VERY loud in the main bedroom, consider earplugs. Everything was as described and easy to find and host communication was great!

We loved staying at Gaetano’s place. The position is perfect with its view over the amphitheatre and the apartment itself is super stylish. We really felt that it was a highlight of our visit to Sicily. The apartment is also perfectly positioned for exploring lovely Catania. We’d certainly return to Catania and would most definitely stay at Gaetano’s beautiful apartment.

The apartment is in a perfect location. We travelled with a baby and being so close to the Main Street made life easy. The apartment is a good size and has a washing machine and full bathroom which again felt very useful. The walk to the cable car and supermarket is about 5 mins and less to the Main Street. Well worth the price we paid and incredibly convenient.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Sicilian retreat. The house is full of authentic charm, with details that reflect the local character and history. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and truly relax - peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. We loved enjoying our coffee with a view of the Etna. Simone is a great host - very responsive, kind, and always happy to share helpful local tips. He made us feel welcome from the very beginning. If you’re looking for a calm escape with real Sicilian atmosphere, this is the place. Only a short drive from Taormina and Catania. Highly recommended!
