Excellent stay at this peaceful, well-equipped and well-decorated place! The hosts are very friendly and responsive! Heated and clean pool! Excellent location: just steps from Lake Lacanau! Recommended without so much as a second thought!

What a great place - peaceful, spacious and private with everything you could ever need to make the time you spend at your home fun and relaxing. It did feel like a home from home. Olivier was helpful and responsive even months before the holiday and always replied within an hour. We had to drive all the way from Calais so explained that we’d be checking in late, he was very understanding even when this time got later and later, eventually arriving after 11pm Olivier still greeted us with a smile and a full tour of all of the facilities and living area, and remained helpful throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend L’Atelier to anybody, and would come back in a heartbeat. Merci Olivier!

Maria, Mark and their daughter were always attentive, friendly, warm and welcoming. The gite had everything you could think of and was perfectly located for biting the numerous châteaus in the region. pool and outside space was perfect!

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and quiet. Great base to explore the area, but you'll need a car! Rauzan 5 minutes down the road has everything you'll need, bakery, butchers, groceries and pizza restaurant! A great place to relax, would recommend to anyone.

Had a wonderful stay at this home. We had six people and there was plenty of room. The house is very clean and had great lighting-loved the windows. In a very peaceful area and felt very secure. My husband liked the walking trail. Views were awesome and close enough to Bordeaux to pop in to see the sights.

Very pleasant stay, we were greeted by Romain on our arrival, very friendly, friendly and very helpful host. the accommodation is very functional and equipped to accommodate families with a baby and children which is really a big plus. We also met Laure, who did not fail to greet us. Very attentive hosts, very clean accommodation in a peaceful and very well decorated place halfway between lake and ocean, spoilt for choice. Caroline is a very available person and attentive to our needs. Regarding the accommodation, it is equipped to the top and well beyond our expectations. Modern, spacious kitchen with great equipment Large bedroom with 200x160 bed opening directly into the bathroom Living room with corner sofa, large TV with Netflix, WiFi, etc. If you are looking for a cottage to walk on the wine route I recommend this place without hesitation Thank you Caroline for offering us this cottage

Quiet place. Charming and well decorated accommodation. Independent of the owners who live next door. Everything you need for a very pleasant stay in the Medoc. However, it was not hot enough in April to take advantage of the pool reserved for the listing. Easy and free parking ( and a charging station for EV owners at 80m) We would highly recommend it.

Tastefully renovated small house in the heart of nature. We loved the chirping of the geese! There is a garden and the neighborhood is very quiet. Lake Hourtin is not far and the beaches are 15min away. The only downside is that you have to bring or rent linens, which is rare on Airbnb.

Nathalie and Hubert were very kind and friendly. The place was pristine, beautiful and relaxing. You have to hire a car to visit places in Bordeaux but Hubert provided many great suggestions of local wineries and things to do. He was always responsive and very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about visiting Bordeaux.

A lovely 3 days here! Our stay started with our hosts welcoming us personally and showing us the cottage. Meeting the hosts always makes us feel like guests and you know you’re staying where someone cares about your experience. The cottage was tidy and very comfortable. The garden view both from the front room and the bed room was beautiful! Even though we didn’t swim, just enjoying the pool and garden view was nice. Bed was very comfortable and we liked listening to the birds singing in the mornings. The kitchen is compact but has mostly what you need to make simple meals. Activity suggestion - we rented e-bikes in Arcachon and rode to the Dune du Pilat, a spectacular ride. There are also many bike rental services in Biganos and trails connect to everywhere. Again it was a pleasure meeting the hosts (thank you for the yummy treats!) and the suggestions they gave us.
