Lovely couple of days at Lilia’s place. Cottage was pristine with a minimalist modern decor. It had everything we needed for two days rest. Lilia provided detailed instructions on how to get to the property and information about local amenities. The local village is a beautiful quaint place.

Such a beautiful place to stay, we got to meet a very friendly cat, 3 dogs and two lovely deers (who love apples & carrots) Our hut was clean & tidy same as the shower room & toilet (shower was amazing) We didn't get to actually meet Ruth but her mum liz was amazing we would definitely stay again!!! Spent a relaxing long weekend in Helen’s lovely cottage. Helen is a great host making us feel extremely welcome and provided everything we needed, even toys for the dog! Sitting in the lounge and looking out the large window watching her stunning horses, a million rabbits and partridges chasing each other was the highlight for our dog who made himself at home the moment we arrived. The garden is a rare perfectly enclosed dog friendly garden, first time we have felt relaxed about letting our dog off knowing he couldn’t get out and wander. This makes a huge difference. Good location to go exploring Cumbria and Northumberland. Plenty facilities within a short distance. We were lucky to witness the most amazing electrical storm whilst there, was out of this world. ( Helen slept through it so we gave her a video of it 🙈) Would recommend this great little place whether you use it as a stop over ( 10 mins from the M6) or to spend a few days to switch off and relax. Had a lovely stay here, can’t fault it! Heather is so lovely and really helpful, the flat was immaculate and had everything you could need, location is fab with the co-op just over the road. Highly recommend the Howard arms for food just a short walk away, 10/10, thank you Heather 🤩
