This beautiful historical cottage was a delight. All mod cons, very close to town and the beautiful River Cree out the back. Perfect!

Cassies Cottage

A heartfelt thank you to Yvonne and Brian for such a wonderful stay in their beautiful home. My friends and I spent two nights at Cassie’s Cottage, using it as a perfect base to explore the stunning surroundings—including Malin Head and Glenveagh National Park. After our adventures, we returned each evening to the comfort of the cottage, where the peaceful atmosphere and the gentle sound of nearby sheep made for the cosiest night’s sleep. As we were checking out, we had a lovely conversation with Yvonne and Brian. Brian shared memories of growing up in his mother’s cottage, adding a personal and touching layer to the experience. The entire stay was truly memorable and made it so easy to fall in love with Donegal. Highly recommend!

The Hayloft

HarryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The long weekend away we’ve ever had! From start to finish, our stay was absolutely perfect. The accommodation was stunning—both inside and out. The charming exterior made a great first impression, and the interior was beautifully decorated with a cozy, welcoming feel. Everything we could possibly need was thoughtfully provided: a travel cot, high chair, fully equipped kitchen with all utensils, soft towels, books, games, information leaflets, fans, and heaters. It was truly a home away from home. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. The surrounding grounds were just as lovely, with a peaceful, private atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the BBQ and picnic bench—ideal for relaxing outdoors. The owners were incredibly kind and accommodating, even allowing us to host our function on-site at no extra cost, which made our visit even more special. We can’t thank them enough. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended

We had a brilliant stay at David's place. the property had everything we needed, was spacious and clean. The beds were comfy, the area was quiet and just a few minutes walk to the main street. The area out the back was very charming and we sat here with a few drinks - the perfect setting. We will definitely book again when back in Letterkenny. Thanks, David!

Cabin in Donegal views of Irish style stonewall

AgataRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great stay. If you are looking for a place where you can watch hares and cows in the morning, you have come to the right place. In addition, the stone walls and ruins of the building make the imagination start working. The atmosphere of the place allows you to go back in time and you can imagine how centuries before you someone else sat on a stone bench built into the wall and admired the sunset. Perfect location for someone who needs to meet themselves again

River Cottage Retreat~Sauna~Cold Plunge~Waterfall

ViktorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at River Cottage felt less like checking into an Airbnb and more like stepping into Anna and Luke’s thoughtfully curated retreat. Nestled beside a usually gentle stream, the cottage offered a rare kind of quiet. We found ourselves unwinding in ways we hadn’t expected. As if the place itself were helping us silence the usual rush of thoughts. The sauna and cold plunge, discreetly positioned at the water’s edge, added a touch of simple luxury. They blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings rather than standing out as flashy extras, even when lit up at night. We explored the surrounding area by car and found Sligo to be the perfect complement to the cottage’s peaceful seclusion. My wife and I already feel drawn back to this little slice of Ireland - eager for another chance to recharge in the calm that Anna and Luke have created. We’re also looking forward to seeing their next ideas come to life.
