Buitenhuysje de Roos has recently been completely renovated and is wonderfully quiet. The cottage is small but nice, about 55m2 and has 3 bedrooms. In 2022, our cottage was renovated, with a new bathroom, kitchen and cast floor. There is a fireplace and nice wooden veranda, where you can sit very privately, with beautiful views. Within 5 minutes, you can drive to Bergen or Schoorl, where you will find supermarkets, nice shops and restaurants. The dunes and forest are within walking distance, and by bike you can reach the beach in 20 minutes.

You will find everything close by: the cozy village of Heemskerk with shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of forest and dunes, near the sea and beach. There are also beautiful cycling routes. From Castricum train station (5 km), you can reach Amsterdam Central Station in just 30 minutes. Alkmaar and Haarlem are also nearby. A gardener's house close to the sea and dunes: cross the road, and you are in the Noordhollands Duinreservaat; the beach is 15 minutes away by bike. Alkmaar, Haarlem, and Amsterdam can be reached within about 30 minutes. The home is clean and fully equipped with a kitchen, a luxurious box spring bed, a living room, a bathroom, and a garden. Bedding, towels, and Wi-Fi available. Ideal for couples who want to get away together. There is an adjoining house that we also rent out; both houses have their own entrances.

In the middle of the bulb fields and just 15 minutes drive from the beach is this unique and romantic property called Flower Power. Outside, you can imagine yourself in a forest at the edge of the bulb fields with views of the dunes in the distance. Inside the gypsy wagon, the sanitary facilities are luxurious, as are the facilities in the yurt. It is a place to unwind, to stand out from the busy life and to enjoy being together.

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.

Our nice house is on the edge of dune and forest. By car, you will be on the beach of Castricum aan Zee in five minutes, by bike in twenty minutes, and after an hour's walk, you will be there. The house has everything you need: a nice sitting area overlooking the lovely garden, a dining area with comfortable chairs for long dining. A kitchen with dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Two bedrooms with space for a total of four people and two bathrooms.

Beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. All to yourself. At the back, a spacious garden room with fireplace and next to it a private garden. You can heat the garden room with the fireplace. In winter, it may be too cold to sit there with just the fireplace. Bathroom has a 2-person bathtub and a double shower. The bathroom also has a washing machine and dryer. Wonderful apartment to stay completely on your own and enjoy the tranquility!
