Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Castro Valley

Amazing spot! Heather’s apartment was an ideal home base for us while we were in the East Bay for Berkeley graduation. It’s a beautiful historic home in a peaceful neighborhood with walkable cafes and a lovely nearby park. The apartment is spacious, stylish, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Everybody enjoyed the luxurious shower, tasty coffee, and great beds. Highly recommend!

Airy, comfortable and immaculate place. Watched surfers, seals, whales and birds everyday.

Easy to find. Felt very private at the end of a quiet residential road. Whale Watching! - from the living room and master bedroom we could see whales. We didn't expect to be able to watch whales from the warmth of the house. We could also walk across the street and stand on the lookout and watch whales from there, as well. The closest beaches must have suffered a landslide because access was down a muddy embankment. The 2nd beach about .5miles away was lined by homeless people living in RVs - wasn't a fun walk to the farther beach. Highly recommend Moss Beach and San Pedro beach for easier access. San Pedro has a busy Taco Bell right off the parkinglot.

We loved our stay at Alli and Abh’s place! First of all, the beds were extremely comfortable! We needed a place to stay the night before a flight so it was perfect. They put a lot of sweet touches throughout the house. Really well decorated/designed, and really adorable. You can tell this Airbnb is something they enjoyed creating together and they genuinely want their guests to have a positive experience-which you can really feel! Highly recommend staying there!

We had a very good time at Mel's place. The place was as per the listing. It's very close to the beach trails and also close to SF and SFO. Mel was very helpful, always replying back in minutes and answering our queries. Recommend her place for anyone looking to spend a nice peaceful weekend.

Stayed at Oriel’s place during a recent trip to Palo Alto and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The space looks just like the photos, everything feels fresh and nicely upgraded, with thoughtful touches throughout. There’s even a small patio that was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. It’s in a great location too, just a short drive to Stanford and close enough to everything without feeling too busy. Oriel was super communicative, especially when some construction started next door. He went out of his way to have them hold off while I finished an important video call, which I really appreciated. All in all, it was a great stay. Loved the space, loved the hospitality, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Visiting from North Carolina

Roberto‘s place was excellent! Everything from the small details of decor to the relaxing space. Great outdoor balcony and excellent location. We can’t wait to stay again.

I am so grateful for my stay in Dylan And Alex's place! It was clean, safe, quiet, easy to check in, and easy to check out. I was able to walk everywhere - grocery, restaurants, and all types of stores within walking distance. Dylan and Alex are so friendly and proactive to be helpful. Urban oasis is the perfect description for this residence. So quiet. Restful, verdant backyard patio (blooming Angel Trumpets were heavenly scented!), sweet dogs and comfortable and attractive furnishings. Was able to cook my breakfast every morning and easily heat up leftovers with well-outfitted kitchen and high-end appliances. Loved how eco-friendly the home is. Murphy bed in the living room was perfect. Walkable restaurants nearby - esp. Homeroom's mac & cheese! Loved everything about this place. We will definitely stay here again when visiting relatives nearby.

Great location and very comfortable space. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils to make cooking easy. There's a dedicated parking spot right in front of the unit, if you have a tall or long vehicle like a truck it might not fit in the spot and there are limited uncovered spaces to park. The AC is in the living room and doesn't get back to the bedroom very well which isn't a problem unless it's a really hot day. There was one day that was 90°F and the bedroom didn't cool off. The living room and couch are comfortable and a nice spot to unwind.

I loved Albina's place. It was so perfect for what we were looking for. It was cute, easy to find, easy parking and just so lovely. The highlight was the view. The bedroom window looked out to the city and the ocean. We never even turned the TV on since the view from the bed was just spectacular. We literally just watched the ocean and boats going by as the sunset before our eyes. The moon then came out and we went to bed just staring out at the sky. I hope to be able to stay here again. It was such a magical retreat.

Sharon is a great host! Very responsive and helpful. Her studio is lovely. It’s exactly as depicted in pictures and the colorful garden creates a beautiful surrounding. There are also little shops and stores on the same street making it convenient to get food/groceries, if needed. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend!

5 stars for the location, nestled in the redwoods just 5 min walk from Mill Valley Downtown and Old Mill Park! Comfortable beds and sofas and great spaces for working, this worked really well for our staycation. The house is an 1880s cabin so it has some charming quirks! Seth is a responsive host and you can tell that he has put his heart and soul into every detail of the space — looks exactly like the photos!

This little home was everything you want and more. It was a peaceful getaway with a lot to do nearby! Everything we wanted to do was within a 10-20 minute drive, with not a lot of traffic at all. The home was comfortable, cozy and quiet. The backyard was completely fenced in, which was perfect for my dog to freely enjoy sunbathing. Comfy beds, spacious living room, laundry room, outdoor seating - this place had it all! Absolutely recommend.
