Claudia is a wonderful and highly responsive host who goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Her chalet is stunning—spacious, beautifully maintained, and offers breathtaking views over Montreux and Lake Geneva. It’s one of the most comfortable and well-equipped Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in, perfect for families or groups. Nestled in the mountains, it’s peaceful and scenic, though the walk from the station can be a bit of a climb—packing light helps. That said, Claudia’s kindness shines through, and time permitting, she may even offer a pick-up or drop-off. We made unforgettable family memories here, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the region.

the flat is fantastic, with everything you need - kitchen (all items) , washing machine, tv with Netflix subscription included, it's clean & tidy. the location is a minor trek from the train station, if you have luggage, then it's trouble, otherwise it's just a walkable 5mins, and that too an enjoyable 5 mins with the views of lake Geneva. didn't find any good eats nearby, had lunch/dinner in monteux.

Perfect accommodation for two people, very quiet place at the end of the season and close to Leysin (10 minutes), Diablerets (20 minutes) and Portes du Soleil in Champéry (45 minutes).

We stayed at Jean-Luc and Evelyn’s place for 2 months, and it was absolutely magical. What a spectacularly gorgeous spot, full of delightful walks and places to discover. Caux is quite remote, but actually very easy to access by train. The drive up is very curvy so maybe not for everyone, but it’s so worth it!! A slice of heaven! There is only one restaurant one can walk to in town, but it’s terrific, and there are other local favorites close by. Montreux is just 15 minute drive (with good restaurants and markets) just dodgy to drive the curves at night. The accommodations were modern, stylish and comfortable, with everything one needs. And wow what a view. Jean-Luc and Evelyn are truly amazing hosts who made us feel like family. We cannot thank them enough for their generosity, kindness and warmth- and for the amazing gift of sharing their home with us. We miss them already and can’t wait to return!
