We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very comfortable, spotless clean, and included a light breakfast with toasts, coffee, and fresh fruit. The host was extremely responsive and shared lots of great local tips. The only thing to keep in mind is the walk to the apartment — it's about a 5-minute uphill climb from the main road, with quite a few stairs. That said, it's part of Modica’s charm as a vertical city. The host also recommended several nearby places to park, which made things much easier

Highly recommended, If you like space, freedom, a friendly host and privacy. This was the perfect base for us to then visit the beautiful beaches and discover the area. Less than 10/12 min from the beach and return to a detached house with great views. We stayed here in mid-June. In terms of temperature, it was just possible to do this at night. We as Dutch people might have found it too hot in August. All in all a great place that is worth more than your money. 10/10!

From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. Oriana is an absolutely wonderful host. She is extremely welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much. Oriana greeted us personally upon arrival and showed us around and how a few things worked. She then came back later on with fresh pizza dough - which she went out of her way to source on an Italian Bank Holiday, when most places were closed. She then stayed and helped make the pizza bases, whilst her husband was outside showing other members of our group how to use the outdoor pizza oven. This was far beyond what we’d ever expect of any Airbnb host. Incredible hospitality. The home itself was beautiful. It was so well equipped and absolutely spotlessly clean. It’s also bigger than pictures suggest. The outdoor area is spotless again. I cannot recommend this property, and especially its host, highly enough. I could say so much more but for the character limit! Absolutely amazing stay and we will definitely visit again.

The villa is right on the beach, you can't get any closer to the sea, you open the back gate and here it is right in front of you - no crowds, just stretches of sand and crystal clear water. There were days we literally saw no other people. Pool area is brand new and again amazing, you can relax in no time. As for the villa itself all as per description, two separate entrances suited our party really well, upstairs apartment has the most beautiful sea view from the bedroom and amazing terrace. Downstairs apartment is also equally comfortable. What I really liked there was lots of stuff inside the house to make the stay most comfortable, sunscreen + insect repellent, board games, bluetooth speaker, spices and condiments in the kitchen. You need a car to get around as the area is remote and private which is only a plus for me. We wish to be back one day, highly recommend Viviana's place to reconnect with nature and have a proper rest.

A truly amazing place located by the best view of the Ibla. The hammock in the courtyard was perfect. Giancarlo and Alex were very responsive and great hosts. Thank you for an unforgettable stay in Ragusa.

Biagio offers a very nice accommodation and was always available. I was allowed to spend 6 days in his house and enjoyed every single one. I liked spending long nights in the whirlpool or on the balcony overlooking the old town the most. The city center was very lively and offers good restaurants. In conclusion, it can be said that a visit is worthwhile.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful countryside home! The house was spacious, clean, and full of charm, with a fantastic pool that quickly became our favorite spot to relax and unwind. Carmelo was an exceptional host — kind, attentive, and always available if we needed anything. His hospitality truly made our stay feel special and stress-free. We made great use of the kitchen and the outdoor grill — perfect for enjoying meals together and making the most of the peaceful setting. Being in the countryside, the environment was calm and natural, with the occasional fly reminding us we were truly immersed in nature — it all added to the rustic charm. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. A perfect escape for anyone looking to slow down and soak up the tranquility of the countryside — with a fantastic host to match!

We really enjoyed our stay in Playa Grande. The location is nicely tucked away and very quiet—no traffic or town noise at all. The pool area was great, with plenty of sun beds and space to relax. Several nice beaches are easy to teach nearby, and we appreciated the secure parking inside the property. The apartment had a large TV and everything we needed. Nearby towns are easy to reach by car and offer plenty of restaurants. All in all, a peaceful and relaxing spot with great amenities. The property offers very good value for money overall.

Villa Arillá is a fabulous place to spend time in Sicily. Close to Marina di Ragusa and nearby Ragusa, Scicli, Modica and Noto. Everything was easy and Tati was a fabulous host. We really enjoyed our holiday here and would thoroughly recommend it to others.

Lovely little cottage with a lovely private outdoor area. The pool is great. Biagio is very kind and the communication was impeccable. We got very tasty cakes on the day of arrival and departure. An attention that we were very happy about. The place was sparkling clean! You should have a car to easily reach the beach, restaurants and supermarket.

Wonderful place. We enjoyed every minute of being there. We travel with two small kids, and Maria had a baby bath and even baby shampoo ready for us as well as some local citrus and chocolate for the kids. This type of thoughtfulness is hard to come by. The place itself was great. Super close to Modica and Ragusa. And the meat spot was spot on. We loved the salume we got there. Can highly recommend this place.

We spent a great week in Angelo’s villa with 3 other couples and 3 kids (one 5 years old and 2 babies). It was the last week of October but the weather was amazing and we could enjoy the pool everyday (the water was of course a bit chilly but still ok) as well as the heated jacuzzi. The villa is an amazing renovation and offers a big living room with enough space for everyone. Angelo is a very nice host: always very responsive and helpful. He was also very flexible with the arrival and departure time. The location is also perfect to enjoy Scicli, the beach and the surroundings (Noto, Raguse,..). Apparently we were the last guests of the season and some renovations will be done. For instance the bathrooms and some doors need to be maintained. The poor sound insulation between the floors and the creaking stairs were a bit annoying, but nevertheless we had a great time and we totally recommend this place.

What a beautiful home. Adriana’s place is peaceful & with stunning views overlooking Scicli. The house is very well equipped, a great place to unwind & has everything you need for a great stay. The pool is just fabulous. We arrived late at night & had no food (there are no supermarkets open after 9pm locally) but Adrianna kindly let us use whatever we could find & a risotto was rustled up. Coffee, milk, toast & marmalade are provided for breakfast the first day which is thoughtful. Scicli is a beautiful town and we enjoyed our morning coffee in Chiosco 'a Funtana which has the best coffee ever - a gorgeous spot. Fresh fish from the local fishmonger is highly recommended too and the little vegetable kiosks by the coffee spot & fishmonger have every delicious vegetable you might need. Thanks Adrianna for being a super responsive & kind host.

Must stay if you get the chance. Luca was extremely friendly and responsive - he created a chat group before check-in to help us manage the process. He also had a list of recommendations, which we used to guide our first night in the area! House is peaceful and tidy - all amenities were there as indicated. We had no problem finding it (recommend adding the location earlier as there is limited 4g in the area). Highly recommend.

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

What a gem!! Francesco’s and Marilena’s apartment is simply amazing. It is well equipped, has everything needed (and more), such a cosy place. We felt home the second we moved in there. Delicious restaurants are in walking distance, also there’s enough street parkings close by, if you have a rental car. Within short drives you can reach various beaches/other towns. We also appreciated the restaurant/beach/visit recommendations by the hosts. We’ll definitely recommend this place to everyone, it’s the perfect place to explore Noto and the surrounding area.

We stayed at Giovanni's for three nights. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos, surrounded by greenery in the Sicilian countryside. Giovanni and his mother are very hospitable, they offered us homemade cakes and herbal teas grown by them. The apartment is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Punta Secca is a truly delightful tourist destination, offering restaurants and bars and a long sandy beach.

Our family of three had several wonderful days at Villa Cammarana and wish we could have stayed longer. The house was gorgeous and equipped with everything you could need from a bbq and stocked kitchen to laundry and a huge, comfortable patio—they even left local cheese, strawberries and bread for us. We loved the green yard as well and our kiddo had a great time playing out there. There’s no A/C but we never had an issue with being hot, the house stays cool and all the windows are screened so it was very fresh at night. Just bring a sleep mask because the sun rises early. It’s easy to get to Ragusa, a grocery store (both ~20 min) and nearby villages, but you must have a car. We went to the beach at Marina di Ragusa twice, very reasonable to rent loungers and towels. The sea is calm and perfect for swimming, lots of local families. Definitely so glad we stayed here!

Absolutely beautiful beach location with lovely sand and clear blue waters. Very clean, spacious and well-equipped apartment about 15-20 minutes' walk to the centre of Donnalucata along the beach. We travelled as a couple but would be fantastic place to bring children as sea is calm and fairly shallow. Very responsive host.

Such a charming apartment, the interior design bringing the vibe of the town of Modica inside with beautifully refurbished antiques and luxe, artistic decor. Our host was more than gracious, he was an actual angel: carried our bags from car down steep street to the apartment, greeted us with beautiful pastries, and was overall warm and welcoming. This apartment is a real find, excellently located to everything you would want to see with delightful sunny terraces within which to enjoy the sunshine. Thank you so much!

The place was great, clean and close to everything. It’s not in the centre which we really liked. A few steps away from bigger crowds but walkable from anywhere within Scicli. Giovanni was always available, helpful and ready with solutions, tips and recommendations. We were there with 2 small kids and had all we needed. Beds, high chairs and heating. The shop in front is a life saver. They had what was necessary before/after a bigger shopping. Lovely experience all around. Would recommend.
