The cabin is very close to The North Country Trail & The North Western State Biking & Snowmobiling Trail. Property includes full access to cabin, fire pit, charcoal grill and yard. Wood fired sauna onsite (Shared with other guests).

This cabin is part of a 7-cabin community that has a private beach and dock in beautiful Hessel, MI. Hessel is a small town in the Les Cheneaux Islands in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. The cabin is an updated and expanded log cabin that is directly next to the Hessel Marina, the Les Cheneaux Culinary School and the Islander Bar. Perfect for boating, kayaking, fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, fall colors, hiking and other activities.

The Summer Kitchen Cottage

Family owned for over 70 years. There is a main house, built in 1902 where the family stays throughout the summer and four cabins built shortly after. The Summer Kitchen Cottage- named for its original purpose, kitchen for the main house, is rustic but well appointed. Lakefront area is a shared space with resident and other guests. Walking distance to Snow's Bar.
