Wonderful stay at the Eagles Nest a real home from home as a base to explore Dunedin highly recommended

This is an older property, very warm, exceptionally clean with great views and walkable to a excellent cafe.

We felt right at home in this lovely house. A lot of care and pride shows. We loved it and would stay again if we were ever to come back this way.

A very cozy house with all the basic needs that one would need. Great collection of DVDs and movies such as Netflix and Amazon. Great view to the Bay of Otago, both dun ride and sun set.

I spent a month at Nadine's house and absolutely loved it. A perfect "home away from home" with everything you need, as described. I was there in the autumn and would love to be there in the warmer months so I could make use of the nice deck and outdoor areas. The house was very nicely situated on the flat in North East Valley, a two minute walk from the bus stop to the city, and also from Chingford Park. I didn't have a car, and it was easy to cycle there from the campus and city on the flat. Nadine and her husband Jake were very helpful and always responded quickly if I ever had any questions about anything. I would definitely stay there again.

Chris was a great host - and the accomodation was peaceful, quiet and cosy! Well positioned to get to local places of interest. Definitely recommended!

The most beautiful retreat amongst singing birds, nature, gardens and the river. We loved every minute of our stay especially the log burner and delicious ambience. Loveday has very tastefully furnished the house with style and nothings been missed. We were there when it was very cold and so we spent time reading books, and chilling - which we never seem to do at home! Both hosts were welcoming and delightful and gave us privacy while also stocking us up with wood for the fire. We will be back and can't wait to experience heaven once more! Great place to stay, beautifully set up, really creative use of the space, comfortable, relaxing and perfect for my weekend stay.

Such a lovely spot, felt very homely and was described exactly as it was. Host was flexible with checking in/out which was great. About 15 mins drive from Dunedin centre which was perfect for us. Would go back any time!

A very welcoming apartment. Stylish throughout. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable furniture in the living room and nice tall windows in most of the rooms. It's also nice to have both a washing machine and dryer. This is an apartment to make sure to come back to on the next visit to Dunedin.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Ewen's place. Such a lovely couple, made us feel welcomed. The place is very cozy and we had our own privacy & space. It is only a few minutes walk from the shops and the Dunedin Botanic gardens which is pretty great.

We loved our stay here. It worked so well for us with whole bottom floor of the house with great spacious well-equipped kitchen, separate bathroom, bedroom and lounge. We enjoyed the two large comfortable couches in the lounge and especially enjoyed sitting and looking out onto the secluded garden space. Liz was friendly and very responsive to any request. We love the area especially with the views and very close access to all the walks in the Ross Creek Reservoir Reserve.

I had truly wonderful memories at this apartment. Everything was perfect — super clean, cozy, and warm. If I visit here again, I will definitely stay at this place. I highly recommend this apartment. If you're hesitating to book, don't miss this great opportunity!

Growing up in Dunedin, I know the area really well, so I searched for accommodation that was in a safe, pretty area, while being a short drive to places we wanted to go and family we wanted to see. Initially I looked at the Roslyn area, but Jon's place was really the same distance to town, the Botanical Gardens, and my family, and cost less. It was also a really nice-looking place with great reviews and right next to the cycleway, so that we could just cycle out and start our trip around the harbor by bike (ibike delivered the bikes). One thing I have to say is, the photos don't look exactly the same as the reality - Jon's place is way bigger than the photos appear. We had lots of space for our family of 5. If you have a car, this is absolutely a great choice. Just make sure you pick up groceries when you are out and about - the little store nearby carries a few things, but we ended up going to Port Chalmers to get groceries. Jon was a responsive and thoughtful host.

The apartment was close to the Centre. It was a short bus ride. Everything was pretty much walkable to the major attractions.

We were after somewhere to stay that had easy access to the Otago peninsula and albatross centre. This place was ideal for these. Apartment was great. Good kitchen and bedrooms. Just what we needed. Samans mother was there to let us in and show us around.
