Beachfront holiday rental in Central Finland

Great little cottage with a great view. The cottage lived up to expectations, and even without running water was great with a small child. Also a good place for a dog to keep free. Great grilling, sauna, swimming, and relaxation.

An old beautiful house and yard that is just to our taste. Good equipment and absolutely wonderful details in the interior. The landlord provided comprehensive guidance on the use of the house and the schedules were easy to arrange. We will definitely stay again if there is a need.

The dogs enjoyed immensely when they were allowed to roam freely on the island. Good steam in the sauna. Great views and peaceful location.

We had a lovely stay (6 days) and were amazed by the clean and cozy apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. Niko responded very quickly to our questions. We had a great time and would come back any time.

The cottage was very cozy and we enjoyed it very much. The abundance had an atmospheric lake view, and we also loved the sandy beach. Great steam in the sauna. A big plus was the tennis court where we got good games! 😊

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful villa in Finland! The location was breathtaking, surrounded by stunning nature and serene lakes. The villa itself was immaculate, with modern amenities and charming decor that made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the hot tub, offering a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. We also enjoyed using the rowboat to paddle around the lake, taking in the beautiful scenery. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing great tips about local attractions and activities. Whether it was relaxing in the sauna or enjoying the view from the terrace, every moment was a delight. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Finland in comfort and style. I can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful time at Arjas Cottage. It is all we hoped and asked for. Very tranquil in the middle of nature directly at the lake. We went fishig and enjoyed the beautiful landscape. Arja was super helpful. She even organized a boat engine for us. The sauna was our highlight. Definitely recommend this place.

The cottage corresponded well to the description, the sauna was very good with soft steam.

Mika is a super polite host and the place is more than awesome. We stay five days in paradise and hope to come back sooner.

Had an overall lovely stay with my partner in a spectacular location right by the lake. Astonishing views for both breakfast and dinner were served right through the windows of the cottage. The price is of course in accordance with these features, maybe even a little too much. It might have been the particular weather but it was quite challenging to get the sauna ventilation exactly to where it doesn't let the smoke in the room.

Gorgeous place, isolated spot but still in walking distance of bus to get to city. Cabin has everything you need. Will defo be back!

Very cozy apartment and everything went clearly and effortlessly.

The apartment is located in a great location on the shore of Lake Jyväsjärvi. The view from the apartment is wonderful! At least one person's accommodation is the size of the apartment and the sauna is a great plus. The apartment is well equipped in every way. Henna answered the questions quickly. So thank you very much for this accommodation opportunity!

Seppo was a really good host, very friendly and flexible. Everything went smoothly and easily. Expectations for the apartment were exceeded and the location is the best. The apartment was clean and the beds were good to sleep in. Coffee was also found in the kitchen cabinet, which we were very happy about The 👍 instructions were clear and sufficient. I can only recommend this place, and I will continue to rent if necessary 😊

A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

A nice little beach cottage with all the necessary equipment and a peaceful location!

Described and comfortable home! The radiators just made a loud noise at night, but luckily earplugs were included. The host was responsive and was going to air out the radiators, so I'm sure the problem will be gone soon.
