A grandma's cottage in a beautiful location on the shore of Nilakka, a child-friendly low beach and a cottage sauna "on the water" with a great atmosphere. On the sauna terrace, there is a hot tub that can be rented separately (remember to check availability). As landscape caretakers, we have a flock of sheep near the cottage or on the main farm, the village road runs through the 3ha cottage plot, but the location is still very peaceful. The holding is 0.5km from the horse farm in a small idyllic village of Savo. In the summer, the cottage can accommodate a larger group, ask for more!

Paalula granary chambers on glazed deck

Welcome to Petäjävesi, in the middle of the most beautiful lake district of Finland. The old farmhouse's flour mill has been restored to a granary chamber where you can calm down and relax. A glazed terrace has been built in front of the granaries, which serves as a living room for guests. You can sit on the terrace and enjoy the fireplace in candlelight and watch the evening sun and the rock fence in the background. Only 3 km from the accommodation is an old church, which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Room in a Traditional Country House - Bedroom 1

The house of Äijälä is one of the few 200 year old country houses in Jyväskylä region and truly a unique opportunity to experience the traditional Finnish lifestyle in an authentic setting. The house has been renovated respecting the old building techniques and the interior is decorated according to the original rural style. Currently the house is a home for a colorful community of young and old people living together with people with special needs and always happy to host foreign travelers.

Linen (=sheets, towels etc) are included. The distance to Häyrylänranta harbour with Lake Konnevesi cruises 4 km and to rapid Siikakoski 2km. A bakery with a bread shop and handicrafts 200 meters. Konnevesi village with shops, restaurants, cafeterias, a bank, bus station, taxi and pizzeria 6 km away.

Keitee to the center of 7 km, to the ski track about 1 km. Own beach sandy and loosely deepening. Rowing boat and fishing gear. Barbecue hut nearby. Smoke sauna in the summer by appointment, extra price. Hot tub for rent. Pets allowed. Opportunity to explore agriculture and milk production.

Traditional log cabin is situated in a very peaceful place by the lake. Lake Konnevesi is very clean and beautiful lake. National Park of Etelä-Konnevesi is founded in 2014. Cottage and sauna are in your use during your stay. Swimming beach is safe for the children. Woods for the sauna and fire place are included. Toilet is in the other building outside the cottage. Rowing boat is in your use during your stay. Pets welcome.
