Holiday rentals with lake access in Central Finland

Very cozy, spacious and peaceful accommodation and still just two kilometers from the ski resort.

An old beautiful house and yard that is just to our taste. Good equipment and absolutely wonderful details in the interior. The landlord provided comprehensive guidance on the use of the house and the schedules were easy to arrange. We will definitely stay again if there is a need.

Absolutely wonderful modern cottage with all the comforts, neatly cleaned. Additional points for stylish decor! Calming and beautiful environment, very relaxing and comfortable place. The owners patiently answered several questions almost immediately. There is only one toilet in the main house, which can be a bit challenging for a larger group, but during the summer, using the additional toilet in the sauna building was effortless. All in all, a wonderful place and experience, thank you very much!

Small house with all the normal amenities. Particularly stylish sauna and laundry room. A good double bed and even an adjustable large table for remote working. The host couple was kind enough to greet us and show us around. There was even a tarp for the car. Recommended!

Such a cozy cabin and a beautiful view on both sides! Saw the northern lights after sauna and it was really the cherry on top. ♥️ the cabin was perfect!

Nice location by the lake. Sheep right next to the house, the kids loved it. Very neat "torppa" and well-equipped kitchen. We caught a few perch and pike. Meat can be bought from the Isoniemi farm 👌

We would recommend staying in Jean Louis’s house, it was clean and ready when we arrived. Due to the great location, we were able to go on many different hikes. What made the stay even better was a wooden sauna next to the lake and the hospitality of Jean, as he offered us a boat ride. Recommended!

We stayed at Henna's apartment for the weekend. We received good instructions for check-in, which went well and flexibly. The apartment had everything you needed for a weekend stay. Full points for the location of the apartment: a stunningly beautiful environment and easy connections in all directions.

I stayed again at this accommodation. Everything was fine, just like last time. Of course, now there were more pillars on the beach, etc., which were challenging for my other dog, but this is not the fault of the host.🙂🙂 Quick walk to the Pavilion where I was at our company's stand. Everything was neat and the job was done!

We had a lovely stay (6 days) and were amazed by the clean and cozy apartment. The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. Niko responded very quickly to our questions. We had a great time and would come back any time.

The apartment was very beautiful, clean, and cozy. Everything was working just fine. It was a little worried that the mopeds who drove past that Friday night were disturbing our sleep, but the street next door quieted in time. The cottage was very cozy and we enjoyed it very much. The abundance had an atmospheric lake view, and we also loved the sandy beach. Great steam in the sauna. A big plus was the tennis court where we got good games! 😊

A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

We had a wonderful time at Arjas Cottage. It is all we hoped and asked for. Very tranquil in the middle of nature directly at the lake. We went fishig and enjoyed the beautiful landscape. Arja was super helpful. She even organized a boat engine for us. The sauna was our highlight. Definitely recommend this place.

A nice little beach cottage with all the necessary equipment and a peaceful location!

A magnificent, cozy, high-quality and very well-equipped log villa in a beautiful and peaceful location. We enjoyed every moment! Everything went very smoothly with the host and we would be happy to return to this cottage again. In the glow of the evening sun, it was nice to bathe in the sauna and swim. A special plus is the kitchen equipment. There was an abundance of cooking utensils, as well as spices and oils, foils, blankets and baking papers found in the boxes like in the home kitchen. Everything worked in the cottage, the beds were very good to sleep in, all the rooms were spacious and we didn't miss anything. A well-maintained place that was a pleasure to visit!

Merja's cottage was a wonderful oasis in the middle of the forest, a true Finnish cottage culture. The cottage was cute and compact, everything worked fine. Wonderful steam in the sauna and the water in the pond is clear and warm.

We had a great time in Kivitasku! The place was as described and the environment was wonderfully peaceful. It was easy to agree on things with Merja and she was flexibly and kindly available. Warm thanks!
