Kate's place is quite lovely and provides an opportunity to be a part of Glen Tay Valley history. The Garden's are beautiful and sitting in the summer house is a treat. Great place for reading a book with a glass of wine in hand. Our dog loves it there too as he can watch the bird life by the Tay river. Kate's digs are a great spot for resting in between adventures in the Perth area. Absolutely charming. It was our third time back.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the geo dome in Yarker! The location right on the lake offered breathtaking views that made our getaway truly unforgettable. The dome was spotless and beautifully maintained, providing all the comforts we needed for a relaxing retreat. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive, making the entire experience seamless and welcoming. We especially appreciated the thoughtful personal welcome card she left for us—it was such a lovely touch. We enjoyed a cozy evening by the bonfire and had a fantastic time paddling around the lake in the canoe. Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back. This is our second stay there within a months timeframe, this is how much we love this place! So beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. We just can’t say enough about this place and the host who is absolutely amazing to deal with. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next stay.

Our stay was beyond all expectations! If we could give it ten stars, we would! Chris was so friendly and helpful and made us all feel so welcome. The grounds were gorgeous and the cabin was a true escape, complete with fireplace, comfortable sofa and beds and every convenience you could possibly need. We enjoyed evening cocktails on the dock while two geese swam nearby with their goslings and then two beavers swam right under the dock! Morning paddle-boarding, birdwatching and enjoying Sharbot Lake’s many attractions made the weekend one of the best I’ve had. I can’t recommend Lehlewa enough if you’re looking for a perfect Lakeside retreat!

Fantastic setting! The place was clean and very well equipped, we lacked nothing. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Wonderful clean lake and fun to explore with their kayaks. We found the indoor space a little tight (family of 5 adults), the rooms were small but comfortable. The outdoor space was phenomenal, lots of sitting areas, fire pits and we enjoyed the hot tub! It is not good for people with reduced mobility however. There are lots of stairs!

The cabin and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and Mark and Tayler are amazing hosts! I came for a weekend of peaceful relaxation, and I couldn’t have asked for a better setting. The small touches (like a wood stove set up with kindling, bird feeder food ready to use, vinyl collection with stereo ready to play) made the visit feel truly magical. I can’t wait to visit again!

this was our first time staying in RV in the forest with great experience of off-roading to the cottage and the stay was peaceful. highlight is there is a dark sky preserve nearby if you are lucky to have a clear sky. thank you John for taking care of us and hope to come back next time.

Absolutely spectacular. Hidden gem! If you are looking for something private but still within a 15-20minute drive to groceries this is the place to stay! You won’t be disappointed. Comfortably holds a family of 6! We had an absolute blast! Stunning property and open concept cottage. Lots of natural light and gorgeous view from the living room! The dock and wrap around deck were absolutely beautiful to enjoy for sunrise and sunset! 2 hour drive to Ottawa and 2 hours to Gatineau National Park! Highly recommend the drive into Gatineau park! And Pink Salmon trail! If you have fur babies, this park is very restricted due to the sensitive eco system! Really cute shops and restaurants in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau Park! We absolutely will be coming back (: Thank you Rachael for being an incredible host! Very responsive to requests and very accommodating !
