Holiday rentals with beach access in Central Kootenay

We were pleased with the spaciousness and comfort of the unit. Well equipped and bright. Lots of seating and comfy beds. It would have helped to be told the name of the building, and to be provided some way to transport coolers and groceries and even bags, up to our unit. We are in our mid to late 70's and it was hard to carry enough for a 10 day stay, all the way to the 3rd floor and so far down the hallway (especially when we discovered we were in the wrong building). Plus, having some directions on the back of the door as to where to take garbage would have been very helpful. We never did find where garbage could be put and ended up bringing it home. 3 of the dining chairs were falling apart, my husband fixed 2. Also, on your check out directions, do a reminder about leaving the garage door opener on the counter, we brought it back to Calgary with us, as we forgot about it. We put it into the mail right away; you should have it back next week.

The address and google maps was a little off, I did a few laps of the block across the street. My confirmation gave one address but the address in front of the building was different. It would be more clear if the name of the building was given. Manager was excellent, attentive but not invasive. There were chocolates upon arrival, some delicious homemade cookies, choc dipped pretzels & fruit, and easter egg hunt for my younger child and even some delicious homemade cabbage rolls. Having laundry on site was a blessing. Place is exactly as pictured. Having a full sized kitchen to cook meals in for a family was great for a longer stay. Would definitely stay again!

Brent and Rose (and their pups, Amber & Coco) are fabulous hosts! It’s a beautiful location, they are friendly and proactive communicators, and it’s a perfect space. We’ll definitely be back!

This is Quite simply a hidden gem in Nelson !! .Loved my stay here and Maria is such a sweetheart. Would 100% recommend

The place was a lot bigger than expected! Spacious bedrooms and living area. Two seperate patios which was also nice. It was a very hot weekend and the air conditioning was a bonus. A pleasant stay.

This place is a dream. Just stunning. Pictures don’t do the view justice. We sat and watched hummingbirds on the deck at sunset, and woke up to the incredible sunrise in the morning from bed. The rental was very well equipped with nice pots, pans, cutting boards, etc. appreciated the nice coffee and French press machine.

Nonie and Dale were absolutely incredible hosts. We felt welcomed and right at home from the start. Cabin was just as described and fit our family perfectly. The photos do not do the view justice. We are already making plans for our next trip to stay with them!

This was a lovely place to stay - Michelle made it so easy. Would come back if I was back in Nelson!

The house is supper cute and in great location, close enough to walk downtown on nice days. Plenty of parking out front.

The place was beautiful and peaceful　and easy short walk to the beach for water activities. The lofty was great. while BBQ, we enjoyed the gorgeous seinery from the deck. The host was very communicative and friendly. We'll definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

The perfect lakefront escape! This cabin is the jackpot—a private beach, all the nature & cabin vibes, and enough space to fit my modern family of five plus our two fur babies. The cabin is spacious, comfy, quirky layout and everything you could possibly need from games, kitchen wear to towels & more. Great communication with Craig, easy to get into. If you’re craving a secluded, serene spot by the lake, this is it.

This was a perfect large home for our ladies getaway! We all love to cook and the kitchen was very well equipped and laid out well to work and visit at the same time. And to sit overlooking the lake was a dream. We’re already planning when we can come again. Thank you Hudson for providing such a perfect spot!

We had a wonderful stay. Jenna was an amazing communicator which made our stay very comfortable. The house is in a beautiful area with lots to do. We enjoyed the private deck with the hot tub. Would definitely recommend!

What a lovely stay we had at Lisa's. As a host, Lisa was so accommodating, flexible and easy to get a hold of. The house had everything we needed and provided a very peaceful stay. We thoroughly appreciate Silverton for being a quiet and beautiful spot conveniently located on Slocan lake with great swimming. We would definitely return.

Just returned from a beautiful and peaceful getaway! Arlene and Earl are by far the most kind, genuine, and lovely hosts. We felt right at home—the location and scenery was exactly what we needed for a 2 night reset (we should have stayed longer!). The area is stunning, you can’t ask for a better place to stay right on the water on the arrow lakes. The home has everything you need, and is incredibly cozy and functional, with a beautiful lakeview bedroom. We are early risers, and enjoyed coffee and the sunrise on the covered deck both mornings- the property gets sun early morning to late night. We loved Joey their dog who kept us so entertained! The property is so spacious with a variety of options to do your own thing, or also socialize with other guests. Perfect mix of relaxing and scenic. We can’t wait to return!

It's an absolutely lovely home with an amazing view and beautiful natural surroundings. The house is spotless and well equipped with everything you need. The views from the large deck were such a wonderful surprise. The ferry ride back and forth from the town of Nelson was an added delight for us. All in all this home was fantastic and I would highly recommend for other travelers.

The studio was just right for what we needed. Enough room to eat breakfast and lunch, we even cooked steak on the shared BBQ one night. Value was great, not luxury, but for what we paid for the location it was superb. The couch was great because our teens cannot share a bed and most studios have two queens which doesn't work for us. The sofa was big enough for them to sleep perpendicular without kicking each other. Really easy to use the ski lockers! Unfortunately the skiing snow was awful with the very warm spring weather, but that's always a risk and obviously had nothing to do with the apartment.

The accommodation was very comfortable and as described with lovely views from the balcony of the apartment and the communal spaces. The small complex was very relaxed and we had no problem parking in the visitor parking. The host also went above and beyond with little touches and extras such as toiletries in the bathrooms and basic cooking items and sauces. The location is fantastic as a good base to explore the Canadian Rockies and the Radium Hot Springs but we also enjoyed Invermere itself, a lovely small town with shops, galleries, a bakery and more to explore, restaurants, a pub by the lake, and a local supermarket, all walkable from the apartment. Two bigger supermarkets and more restaurants and shops can be reached within a 5 minute drive. The host also has a folder with much local information. Also recommend a trip up the mountain to Panorama. All in all we loved it!

This place is fantastic. Fully stocked, there wasn’t anything we thought we might need that they didn’t have. Would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful Airbnb in Kaslo! The unit has been recently renovated and feels brand new—everything is clean, modern, and thoughtfully done. The space was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed, especially the well-equipped kitchen which made it easy to cook our own meals. The location couldn’t be better, with a coffee shop right downstairs and everything in town within easy walking distance. We especially enjoyed our daily walks along the water—so peaceful and scenic. The hosts were fantastic: friendly, responsive, and clearly take pride in creating a welcoming space. Highly recommend this spot if you're visiting Kaslo—we’d definitely stay here again!

The condo at Red Mountain was spacious and perfectly located, just a short walk to the ski lifts, making it an ideal spot for a winter getaway. It was stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Bridget was great! She provided clear instructions and was very responsive when we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We booked Shy's place for the May long weekend. We were two families visiting and we are so happy that we chose this place. It was exactly how it was described. Access to pool and hot water tub made it cherry on the top. Shy was responsive, proactive and clear with her instructions. Our key cards had some issues so had little bumpy ride to the check in but the place was well worth the wait ! Would come back and recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Invermere or Panorama.
