Holiday rentals with lake access in Central Kootenay

The place was beautiful and peaceful　and easy short walk to the beach for water activities. The lofty was great. while BBQ, we enjoyed the gorgeous seinery from the deck. The host was very communicative and friendly. We'll definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

The perfect lakefront escape! This cabin is the jackpot—a private beach, all the nature & cabin vibes, and enough space to fit my modern family of five plus our two fur babies. The cabin is spacious, comfy, quirky layout and everything you could possibly need from games, kitchen wear to towels & more. Great communication with Craig, easy to get into. If you’re craving a secluded, serene spot by the lake, this is it.

This was a perfect large home for our ladies getaway! We all love to cook and the kitchen was very well equipped and laid out well to work and visit at the same time. And to sit overlooking the lake was a dream. We’re already planning when we can come again. Thank you Hudson for providing such a perfect spot!

What a lovely stay we had at Lisa's. As a host, Lisa was so accommodating, flexible and easy to get a hold of. The house had everything we needed and provided a very peaceful stay. We thoroughly appreciate Silverton for being a quiet and beautiful spot conveniently located on Slocan lake with great swimming. We would definitely return.

Just returned from a beautiful and peaceful getaway! Arlene and Earl are by far the most kind, genuine, and lovely hosts. We felt right at home—the location and scenery was exactly what we needed for a 2 night reset (we should have stayed longer!). The area is stunning, you can’t ask for a better place to stay right on the water on the arrow lakes. The home has everything you need, and is incredibly cozy and functional, with a beautiful lakeview bedroom. We are early risers, and enjoyed coffee and the sunrise on the covered deck both mornings- the property gets sun early morning to late night. We loved Joey their dog who kept us so entertained! The property is so spacious with a variety of options to do your own thing, or also socialize with other guests. Perfect mix of relaxing and scenic. We can’t wait to return!

Sad to leave this paradise. You people looking for serenity, calm, relaxation & nature need to stay here for your own good! Glen & Robyn are such gracious hospitable hosts. This home feels like yours in an instant & they have really thought of every little need of their guests & made it happen. The house is equipped with everything you could potentially forget in town, or any “i wish we had’s” you can think of ….they have already! Too hot in the house? They have outer window shades. Not ready for the sun waking? Almost black out blinds. Need hygiene products? Check under the sink. Wish you had some music instead of the quiet keeping you company in the pool? They have out door speakers. Really the amenities & care put into this beautiful masterpiece of tranquility are endless. Do yourself the biggest favour; book here and take a load off & remember to feed your pet fish for the entirety of your stay! Glen & Robyn, thank you!

This place is a gem! The house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. Awesome views! We went down to the water every single day to swim, fish for trout and throw sticks in the water for our pup. Great hiking in the area. Super friendly and responsive host. Highly recommended!!

Place was spotless and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Loved the view and Marty was suggested places to go and see. Felt right at home and will come again when possible.

We were pleased with the spaciousness and comfort of the unit. Well equipped and bright. Lots of seating and comfy beds. It would have helped to be told the name of the building, and to be provided some way to transport coolers and groceries and even bags, up to our unit. We are in our mid to late 70's and it was hard to carry enough for a 10 day stay, all the way to the 3rd floor and so far down the hallway (especially when we discovered we were in the wrong building). Plus, having some directions on the back of the door as to where to take garbage would have been very helpful. We never did find where garbage could be put and ended up bringing it home. 3 of the dining chairs were falling apart, my husband fixed 2. Also, on your check out directions, do a reminder about leaving the garage door opener on the counter, we brought it back to Calgary with us, as we forgot about it. We put it into the mail right away; you should have it back next week.

Staying at Maria's place was everywhere would have hoped. It was only a few blocks from the heart of downtown & the river, yet it was so private and cozy. Plenty of room for myself and 2 friends. Inside the house were perfect pairings of antiques and artful touches. I'm so glad we stayed there and will choose it 100% of the time when I come to Nelson again.

This is Quite simply a hidden gem in Nelson !! .Loved my stay here and Maria is such a sweetheart. Would 100% recommend

We’ve had such a hard time finding a nice place to stay in New Denver over the years so it was amazing to find Jaymie’s place. The place itself is beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The location can’t be beat, one block from the lake and super quiet and private within walking distance of the lake trail, river and supermarket. The host is kind and caring, responsive and helped us with questions we had. Bed was super comfortable and lots of natural light.

Maria was such a delightful host. She greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed including some restaurant recommendations. The apartment was exactly how it is described and it was very well appointed with a lot of personal touches. We would definitely reserve this unit or another of her places if we return to Nelson. What a great little spot. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Loved our stay in Slocan in Marie and Jeremy's basement suite. Right in the center of town and the center of her lovely garden. Great local recommendations. The space had everything we needed and the induction cooktop heats in secs not mins.

Will stay again

Nonie and Dale were absolutely incredible hosts. We felt welcomed and right at home from the start. Cabin was just as described and fit our family perfectly. The photos do not do the view justice. We are already making plans for our next trip to stay with them!

Emilie’s place was wonderful! She was super accommodating and lovely. Our 1.5 year old had so much fun on the beach, and huge patio overlooking Nelson. Would highly recommend!

The cabin and property were fantastic. Highly recommend this place.

Laura and host were very helpful and did everything they could to help us when we needed it. There were extenuating circumstances with a forest fire that needed immediate help and they helped us as much as they could. Lauras place is beautiful.

We were a large extended family group (6 adults & 3 teens) and the house and outside spaces had lots of room for us all. The house was very clean and comfortable inside. Everyone in our group enjoyed the lake, SUP and kayak - it was so nice not to have to bring those things with us or rent them. We’ve stayed in many Air BnBs and this was the best equipped kitchen I’ve ever seen - it had everything we needed and more. It was very hot for the week of our stay, but the AC kept the house cool enough and it cooled off at night outside so we were comfortable for sleeping. Christine was always responsive and friendly and we had all the information we needed about the house & area. Thank you for sharing your home with us - so many great memories were made!

This space has the most stunning views of Nakusp you can get. You absolutely cannot beat the location of this Airbnb. Right out front is the walking path that takes you on a beautiful waterfront adventure straight to the beach. And directly behind you are steps away from cute coffee shops, food, and stores. The fully fenced large yard was a HUGE bonus for us as we had our rambunctious 2.5 year old nephew along for the holiday and we could have peace of mind that he was contained haha. The deck was perfect for morning coffee, dinner, and a nightcap. The lights outside were a very cute touch. Inside was ample space, a functional kitchen with all the amenities, and a large living room to gather and play a game or watch a movie. Bedrooms were stocked with the clean linens and pillows. They also had LOTS of crisp clean towels. I would love to come back here in the future and would highly recommend it. Thanks Chantal for being a great host!

This was a perfect place to stay for our week away. We had 2 dogs with us who loved the water. The hosts were extremely accommodating and we felt right at home. The place was immaculately clean, and we had everything we could have needed for a beach vacation.

The beach house is one of my favourite places. The view is unsurpassed and there is plenty to do if you like playing outside. Or even if you just like sitting and watching the light change on the water. Kayaking from the beach every morning is a real treat and there are plenty of spots nearby to bike or hike.

Beautiful place and stay. Felt very at home. The outdoor screened room was fantastic. Pictures don't do it justice. Lots of chairs and tables. Bedrooms were spacious with lots of extra blankets, towels and beach towels. Fully stocked kitchen. Paula was very fast to answer when we had questions. Our whole family loved it. Will definitely be back!!!
