Texas Wine Country Hilltop Glamping an Adventure a

ChloeRating, 5 stars55 months ago
An amazing piece of heaven. Peaceful, great views, stunning tents, private, great for social distancing with friends or family. Very well appointed and thought out. Definitely our favorite glamping site yet! And so many wineries, distilleries, brewers and cider houses to enjoy nearby. Take the drive through Pedernales State Park if you're coming from Austin to get into the mood. Thanks Jan and Cianna.

Yurt #2 with A/C + Fire Pit, NEW Discounted Rates

ColinRating, 5 stars37 months ago
We had a blast at Green Acres! We happened to be the only people there and had it all to ourselves! This was our first time glamping and even in with temperatures in the mid 90s - the shade and the yurt were still cool enough to enjoy, and the yurt got down right nice and cold at night! We wondered into town for some breakfast, and again later for some BBQ but couldn't help but just fully relax out at the camp site. We cant imagine a better escape/unplug and recharge. We were immersed in nature, and even if it were a busy weekend, the way the sites are set up feel individual and private/secluded. Everything was clean and set up/ready to go. We cant wait to return for our next get away.

Yurt #1 with A/C + Fire Pit, NEW Discounted Rates

UdayanRating, 5 stars25 months ago
The location is just as described. The yurt was pretty comfortable thanks to the fans and air conditioning. The kitchen was stocked and even grilling material was aplenty. There were smore sticks as well. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Nearby, there is great Texan bbq and horse riding. Highly recommend.

Stargazer Tent at Wahwahtaysee Resort! *glamping*

AmeliaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
This was a very fun overnight trip! The golf cart was perfect and really made the trip. We drove down quite a ways and had a nice river beach to ourselves. The pool is beautiful as well and has a full bar to purchase drinks. The raccoon Bubba will knock over your trash at night so be aware of that. Fridge is mini size and the grill was nice but bring your own grill tools. They also have Yetis tumbelres you can use with their cute logo on it. Bed was fluffy and comfortable. I opted for an outdoor shower under the stars and it was perfect! The indoor shower and tub are resort quality as well. The porch is gated all the way around but would be short enough for a large dog to jump over. My corgi mixes couldn't escape though so it was perfect. If you have a tiny dog they may be able to squeeze through the gaps. Make sure to drive around and check out all the amenities like the volleyball court, conrnhole, swings, and bocce ball court.

April's primitive campgrounds were exactly what we hoped for! A secluded spot in Hill Country, with friendly hosts, lots of wildlife, and close to nearby state parks. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a weekend in nature!

Dripping Springs - Safari Tent

SarahRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We recently stayed at this charming Airbnb and loved every minute of it. The secluded, beautiful area provided a perfect escape, and the tranquil atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. The well-maintained pool was a highlight, offering a refreshing way to unwind. Plus, with several wineries just down the road, I enjoyed delightful tastings and brought back some excellent local wines. Overall, this Airbnb is a fantastic retreat with its serene setting, relaxing amenities, and proximity to wineries. Highly recommend!

Glamping Tent on 200 Acre Regenerative Ranch

MichaelRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Honestly sovereignty ranch exceeded every expectation we had going into it. Everything that Mollie and her people are doing is amazing. I plan on returning annually at the minimum. Everyone is extremely helpful and welcoming. The food was great. The accommodations were great. Honestly I want to live there lol.

Have to dolly (provided) luggage to the tent but it’s not far at all and really nice not to have cars coming and going shining lights in your tent. Extremely nice community showers and clean as any hotel I’ve stayed.

I booked last minute the day before, so I felt lucky to find it, but on arrival, it was truly beyond my expectations. Such a beautiful, peaceful setting. If you are looking for a romantic, luxurious ‘safari-like’ vibe next to an awesome state park, this is IT. If it’s under 40*f, be prepared for a cold, standup, outdoor shower with indoor tub/handheld shower only-great water pressure. Helpful to be knowledgeable re: Yurt function/closure in case of inclement weather/temp. Superb quality robe (1) /towels/linens- bring your own washcloth. I couldn’t find one, but maybe just missed it. Compressed towels were super cute. We slept so well in the uber comfortable bed. The outside sitting area is perfect for star gazing and relaxing with a glass of wine. Love the string lights. This is a clean, well maintained property, we felt right at home, and the friendliest town ever is only 12-15 mins away. Pedernales park is across the street-yay! I highly recommend staying AT LEAST 2 nights minimum.

Gorgeous location. Lot of bugs that's nature. Interior of the tent was very well separated (with AC) but still felt like it was in the middle of everything.

Hill Country Glamping with AC & Free Wine Tasting

LexiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. Everything was great and we both loved that it was located on a winery. The wine tasting was great. Staff was friendly. And the pizza and charcuterie were very tasty. We stayed at a glamping tent in Utah last year, but this one was a lot more enjoyable with having your own bathroom and other amenities in the tent. The tent cooled down better than expected at night and we weren’t uncomfortable at any point. During the day it did get warm but that was expected with the Texas heat. Plenty to do during the day though, so it was no problem. Overall was great and recommend staying here

Hill Country Gypsy Outpost Glamping Tent

ShannonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really like the spot! It is a remote spot in the beautiful hill country of San Marcos. We arrived at night so it was a little difficult to navigate to the tent but overall doable. We liked the off the grid feel and was perfect for the night for us ( fyi to other guests that there is no electricity or hot water). We had a campfire and relaxed under the stars!

Tree Line Vista at Estes Preserve

DeborahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The Treeline Vista is perfect for a restful personal renewal or a fun family weekend. The trails are varied in woods, prairies and sun and shade. Deer are everywhere. It's fun to hear the coyotes yipping after dusk and the barn owls hooting. Don't worry, the wildlife won't come near you. It's perfectly safe. The private bath house is wonderful for a hot shower after a day on the trails. They have a high-end composting toliet which is civilized enough for people afraid of "going in the woods" and is environmentally responsible. The fire pit is far enough away from the tent to keep it from smelling like smoke. Picnic table, lounge chairs, patio table and chairs + rocker outside. Two comfortable chairs, cozy bed and a double twin trundle bed, plus a chest of drawers full of goodies for the kids to explore nature. Also, large sink, plates, bowls and every kind of utensils are available for use. I just can't think of a better down to earth glamping experience than Estes Preserve.
