Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Centro

Cesar was a terrific host. He met us when we arrived. We had been in conversation prior to arrival. He showed us everything about the apartment. Gave us restaurant suggestions and even got a cab together for us before we departed for the airport. A really nice guy.

The apartment is nice and in a great location :) We had an apartment with a view which was great. The location of the apartment is very good you can walk to a lot and there are many great restaurants nearby. The area is really great, nearby there is a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, etc. It is quiet in the street and you don't hear any noise from the street. However, the small balcony definitely did not fit a chair and table as shown in the photos. You could look out but not linger on it. We would have liked to use it. The kitchen is a bit outdated and the shower could also use an update. The equipment in the kitchen could also be improved a little, e.g. there are no small spoons for coffee or tea.

Loved our stay in Eva's apartment. It was perfect for our 4 day stay in Madrid. Located in a pleasant area 20 minutes walk from the city centre. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and directly opposite the Metro station and shopping centre. Eva was extremely pleasant and helpful and responded quickly to any questions. The apartment was lovely, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The balcony was a lovely relaxing space overlooking the riverside park. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone coming to Madrid.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment that's block away from Mayor Plaza and we walked everywhere.

We were really very satisfied. The location of the Airbnb is perfect in a beautiful neighborhood with many bars, restaurants and very central. Christophe responded quickly, the apartment was very clean and with the air conditioning also bearable at high outside temperatures. We would keep coming back.

We spent 4 days in Madrid and needed a centralized place to stay. Patricia‘s apartment was perfect. We had everything we needed. Our private bathroombathroom was excellent with a shower/tub. The bed and pillows/linens were great. Very comfortable. She had a personal refrigerator for us too! The apartment was located very close to everything. The train station is just minutes away as well. Overall, we were very pleased with Patricia‘s Airbnb. We plan to come back to Madrid and we’ll definitely hope that Patricia‘s place is available. She was very personable and made the difference. Her dog Coco was adorable. Looking forward to returning one day soon!

We felt very much at home and very welcome. Everything was provided, the care for the cat Minin was very nice.

Adrian’s place was perfect for our first time in Madrid. We loved the neighborhood— so walkable! Retiro, Gran Via, shopping’s, cafes, restaurants, etc. were all within a 30 min walk or less, and of course we had the metro as well. The apartment was stylish and comfortable. Even though it’s a shared space, we felt like we had a lot of privacy. Adrian was often away or in his room. The loft was a little warm at times, but Adrian turned on the air conditioning on the warmest days, and we also had a fan. Please note, the ceiling of the loft is low and there are many stairs to Adrian’s floor, so take that into consideration if you are disabled or very tall. My boyfriend is 5’10” and he was fine :). Overall we really enjoyed our stay! 10/10 would recommend.

Small apartment, but with everything you need. Rossy very nice and attentive, but if we don't get to talk to her my friend and I, I don't know when she would have talked to us to meet for the delivery of the keys. Otherwise, everything is very clean and very good.

The apartment is incredibly comfortable and equipped. Pet friendly. 10 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from downtown by bus. I emphasize the comfort of the beds and the armchair, which in our case we were 3 ( and my cat) we also use it for sleeping. I also highlight the central heating, we were warm at all times (we arrived right in the spring transition and it was cool outside). It even has a floating floor. Regarding the bathroom is small but well laid out. It even has bidet and a shower is wonderful!!! the most, it comes out with very good water and hot temperature all the time. The fully-equipped kitchen, we had an oven, washing machine, dishwasher. A luxury. The hosts Denisse and Fernando are always attentive to all our requirements. They were in the check-in time and we were provided with more linens and another set of keys. We highly recommend this home. Super comfort guaranteed

We stayed at Juan’s place for over 10 days and rented two units to celebrate our daughter’s wedding. Both units were on first floor and ours had a beautiful garden. Perfect for 2 adults and maybe a kid. Clean, spacious and within walking distance to great restaurants, grocery stores, Alcala street, metro and bus stops. Juan was very friendly and responsive. The AC was great since it was very hot outside. Also, very convenient laundry room in the common area. Our only complain is the very poor internet service. We had to use our data almost every day while being inside the apartment. Although Juan indicated new internet was going to be installed we experienced the problem until we left.

location 25 min from downtown. super tidy house, good TV, good mattresses. Juan was always very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend 👌

We really enjoyed our stay at Carmen's place. It was conveniently located near a variety of shops and restaurants, plus easily walkable to access public transportation. The space was clean and inviting, and Carmen was very responsive to any questions that we had.

The accommodation is as it appears in the photos. It's small but functional, perfect for two people. The location of the house is great, as it has bus and subway stations very close. There are also plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, at night you don't hear any noise. They were very flexible with the arrival time and that was great for us. They were very kind at all times and left the apartment clean, tidy, with shower gels, etc.

Pino’s place was great for the week my partner and I stayed in Madrid! It has an amazing location so you can walk to everything. There is an elevator which made it easy to move the luggage up and down. The wifi was fantastic, my partner had to work a bit so that made it super easy. The apartment had everything we needed, and Pino even left us a bottle of wine and some snacks! Pino was also very flexible with our check in as we arrived early in the day which was very appreciated! One thing I will mention is that it was loud at night during the holiday we happened to be there for (Constitution Day) but was quiet the rest of the week. It didn’t bother us too much as we had ear plugs! We highly recommend staying here!

The house was impeccable, the service was very good, they left us coffee, cocoa and the essentials of a house. The only downside is that it is far from the city and with the heat the commuter train or bus was very crowded, we managed with taxis and ubers but fine, the accommodation is as in the photos.

This is a great listing. It is in an amazing location, with public transportation and restaurants. Also they had everything I needed for my extended stay. Mirelis is a great host, she was very helpful with everything I needed.

Loved this apartment - perfect for 2 people. Has everything you need within a 5 min walk. Great pool and gym and 24 hour security with is nice. Oscar is super nice, easy to communicate with. We will be back to stay here!

Great spot to stay. I stayed for a month and found Santiago’s place to be a perfect home base for my time in Spain. The space is small but fully equipped and it’s in a vibrant spot in the city. Trains and supermarkets and pharmacies all super easily accessible. Santiago was super responsive with any questions. The loft sleeping arrangement worked for me but it can get hot up there and the stairs up probably aren’t for everyone.

We had a wonderful stay with Liron, who is a fantastic host very friendly, understanding, and welcoming. You can truly feel the spirit of Madrid the moment you step outside the door. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and exploring the city. The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped with everything you might need.

Excellent experience This was my first time using Airbnb and it couldn't have been better. Tiago was an impeccable host from the start. I booked well in advance from Uruguay, and everything was as promised in the publication. The apartment is located in the heart of Chueca, an ideal area to get to know Madrid: safe, vibrant, with everything close by, and perfect for getting around on foot or by public transport. The apartment is very quiet, clean and comfortable; you can see the care in every detail. Also super bright I will definitely book with Tiago again next year. I recommend it 100%.
