Villa holiday rentals in Cernobbio

The house was gorgeous inside and outside. The view was even better than I thought. Very quiet and peaceful. The host was very helpful and responsive. The lift was helpful for me and husband so we didn’t have to go up and down the steps. The only thing I didn’t know about was the house was very close to other houses. I thought it was more seculuded. I would definitely stay there again.

Views are stunning and the bathroom is new, but things to be be aware of : Getting a car in and out of the drive is very difficult/dangerous, especially with nobody to help as you have to back in/out onto a fast main road. Very noisy as the property is a just a few feet from the main road and windows are single glazed. Couldn't let our dogs outside if we popped out as we couldn't open the electric gate without the risk of the dogs running into the road. Risk of children and pets falling into the lake, as there's no fence/rail in many places. Only one shower, so a challenge to have multiple guests. Not sure is it was a short term issue but there wasn't enough hot water for 2 people to have a shower - the second person got an ice cold one!

Stefano’s villa was absolutely beautiful. Wonderful location, stunning views—the balcony was perfect for morning coffee. I highly recommend staying here. The house was spotless upon our arrival, communication was excellent, and check out was very easy. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay, it made the wedding so much easier.

Outstanding large flat with two balconies with 360 degree view or lake and city of Como, we almost didn’t go to town because it was amazing to just chill on the lounge chairs. Very clean, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Everything was just so thoughtful for travelers, including large supply of Neapolitan espresso with a real espresso machine. :) All windows with proper blinds and mosquito nets, AC/heating… Very comfortable bed, something we often are missing even in hotels. We didn’t lack anything and were warmly welcomed by Miranda and her team. 5 min by foot from the quiet neighborhood to the lakefront. Garage was perfect as we arrived by car.

A magical place…even though we are Swiss we never imagined that such a beautiful local area could exist with that price and that view ! We are so grateful to have had the chance to stay at this villa ! I recommend 1000% !

This place was such an amazing stay for our family. Hester and Michel have done an incredible job with the design and furnishing of the place. The views are incredible and it is just steps to the water. You get the full experience walking up the many steps to town, but it makes the place even more special. The patio and garden are a great place for your morning espresso or dinner with the whole family. Definitely one of our families' favorite places we have ever stayed.

We had an amazing longer weekend stay with a few friends at Andrea's place and I can only wholeheartedly recommend it!!! It has a really nice location with possibilities to explore numerous things around (by car). The kitchen was very well equipped and we were amazed at the number of available amenities. View from the balcony was simply breathtaking!!!

The place really is a small paradise and it provides everything you need. The host is very friendly and always helpful. We enjoyed our stay there to its fullest and can only recommend it. The view on the lake is breathtaking and the garden underlines a feeling of harmony as well as mystical atmosphere. The restaurant nearby is also quite recommendable. The location of this villa was absolutely incredible! Waking up each morning to a quiet coffee on the terrace overlooking Lake Como felt like something out of a dream. The view was breathtaking and set the perfect tone for each day. With the town just a short walk away, we were able to explore local shops, restaurants, and the lakeside promenade with ease. The walk added just the right amount of exercise to feel refreshed without being tiring. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful, beautiful, and convenient place to stay—truly unforgettable.

It’s my first stay using airbnb and luckily it was in this villa i liked it it felt like home very cozy place to stay and there is a nice walkable area too am very pleased ☺️💕

This property was incredible with absolutely stunning views that took our breath away. When you wake up, you can look out and see Bellagio across the lake, a truly unforgettable sight. The house is beautiful, spacious, and perfectly equipped for a group of eight. Deborah, the owner, was warm and helpful throughout our stay. The outdoor space was large and perfect for relaxing while soaking in the lake and mountain views. The location felt very safe and walkable, though it is on a hillside, so be ready for an uphill walk. The quiet, narrow roads and passage ways were great to explore. The walk can be a bit challenging, but the views make it more than worth it. Taxis are also easy to arrange if needed. Menaggio was the perfect place to stay, charming, peaceful, and a great base for exploring Lake Como. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay in Oliveta Laria. I can't say enough good things about Marzia. She communicated well from the time of reservation through check-out and beyond. The house is beautiful, magnificent view and very private. Believe what she says about the driveway!! It is very steep and windy. Smaller cars much better. We had a large van and it was intimidating. The path through the woods to the town was nice. We would definitely rent from Marzia again!!

Beautiful home and even better view of the lake and surround towns. Really what we wanted to get a relaxing yet fun experience. Would definitely come again and highly suggest for anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

Our family loved staying with Sonya and Simone. Five stars is not enough. They welcomed us with beer, wine, and food and we instantly felt right at home. The breakfast they served was amazing and they worked with our schedule. They even went above and beyond and mended our four year olds toy. On top of that, there was really unique art and themes throughout the Airbnb that made the place truly unique. I highly recommend staying here.

Words really can’t describe how beautiful this villa is. Eugenia is an incredible host, to say the absolute least. She is super helpful and on top of every thing you could ask for. Eugenia really made us feel at home and made everything so easy for us from transportation to restaurants to boats etc. I highly recommend staying here, you will NOT regret it.

We spent 4 nights in Valerio's home. The house is very large , we were 2 families, so the two independent accommodations were very convenient. The house is close to the center of Cernobbio 10 minutes walk. Charming village . It's easy to take the boat to visit the towns around the lake. The view from the house is nice. Small downside for parking: we had a 9-seater vehicle and it was very difficult to get into the driveway (narrow gate width) and turn around. Another thing to review: many broken furniture: the sofa bed in the living room has one foot less and was held with a stack of books, also broken bed slats and chairs too. Outdoor furniture would have been nice because you had to take the table out of the inside to put it outside. As well as a few outdoor chairs to enjoy the park and the shade would be more. We recommend this property for a stay in Como

Very clean environment and with every comfort. It's like feeling at home. I enjoyed everything... from the soft and fragrant linens, to the terrace where it's a show to eat, to the pool to cool off. Katiuscia's dad set up umbrellas and deck chairs for us every morning. The place is very relaxing and is a strategic point for reaching beautiful places to visit. Thanks for hosting! :-)

Elisabetta was certainly a Sparkly Host! She warmly welcomed us and enthused about the villa and surrounding area. She gave us many excellent tips about where to go and where to eat. The villa itself surpassed our expectations, providing ample accommodation for our group of 21 including 9 grandchildren. The villa is exceptionally child friendly. with plenty of age appropriate toys, lovely pool and table tennis. There were loads of tables and chairs, giving a variety of places to eat, both inside and out. We were celebrating four big birthdays, 40th,30th,30th and my 70th. This was a fabulous venue for such a gathering. The surrounding area around Lake Como is stunning, with excellent walks and outstanding mountain restaurants ... Do follow Elisabetta's recommendations. We enjoyed a truly magnificent holiday in Barni.

Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We had a fantastic week’s stay in the Villa. The outdoor area are even better in person than they were in the pictures. It is set in a brilliant location, where we could get to the ferry station with a 20 minute walk. Stefania was a wonderful host. They checked in to make sure everything was ok and responded very promptly if we had any questions. Would highly recommend

The house looks good like on a picture. When we checked in , it was not cleaned up after previous guests, bus Susanne was responsive and organize quickly a cleaning lady and refund us cleaning fee . I’m satisfy with a stay. The only minus that you can’t park right in front of the house, might be uncomfortable if you carrying heavy things. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

We stayed there for 3 nights, the location is perfect for relaxation and recreation. The house was sparkling clean and super equipped. The owner always responded quickly and very kindly to the messages. Bed linen, dishes, towels all clean and comfortable. Villa Giorgio was a little paradise, thank you!
