Mini gîte "Le petit fournil" in Normandy

Notre ancien fournil est une partie de notre corps de ferme. Au rez - de - chaussée, il est pourvu d'une cuisine équipée et d'une salle de douche avec toilettes. A l'étage, une chambre mansardée dispose de 3 lits indépendants. A l'extérieur, nos hôtes ont accès à une terrasse privée avec du mobilier de jardin. La wifi est gratuite. Un petit déjeuner (pain paysan, confiture) est proposé sur demande pour 5 euros par personne. Proche de la voie verte, les promeneurs apprécieront cette halte.

Halfway between Mont St Michel and the Loire Valley castles! On a hiking trail, you will be comfortably housed in the quiet of the countryside and in complete independence. You will have at your disposal a nice living room with 1 sofa and 1 table, 2 bedrooms as well as a bathroom. You will have a private terrace facing the pastures. Alone, as a couple, with your children or a couple of friends, we will be happy to welcome you and offer you a breakfast with our homemade products.

Once the village bank, it has been lovingly transformed into an intimate and quirky cottage from where you can explore the beautiful French countryside, immortalized by the famous French Artists, Pissaro and Piet. Close to the small, but vibrant market town of Lassay Les Chateaux, a visit to the 14th C chateau, and local boulangeries is essential. With the Musee de Cidre on your doorstep, there is plenty to see and do.

Farm cottage

Come and get some fresh air in the countryside in a safe and fun place, ideal for your children. Family in Mayenne or just the desire to breathe, or to visit our region. Located next to our farm, a nice little 30 m2 furnished cottage surrounded by animals and games for children. During your stay, we will be happy to share the life of our farm (take care of the small calves, go get the cows for milking, bring in the 8600 rented chickens in the evening).

Farmhouse situated in 1,5 h of gardens and lakes. The gite is set within spacious gardens, offering a regenerative space for mind and spirit in natural surroundings with peaceful sounds of the countryside. The wi fi has now been upgraded to fibre & is rated ‘very fast ‘ As well as the two small lakes there is a dell and bog garden. Surrounding area is excellent for walkers & cyclists. Bikes are available for guests at no extra cost.

Nice little cottage located in Ambrières-Les-Vallées, 500 m from all amenities (bakeries, restaurants, butcher, supermarkets, pharmacy, doctor). Ideal for discovering Western France and the Mayenne department. Close to the greenway for walking or cycling. House composed of a bedroom, a living room with a view of the private terrace, an independent kitchen, a dining room and a bathroom. All on a plot of 400 m² enclosed with parking.

“Gîte de Pépé”, townhouse near the castle

“Le gîte de pépé” is a charming little house with an exterior. It has been fully renovated and equipped for you to have a comfortable stay. Ideal for 4, it can accommodate up to 6 people. Located in the small town of Lassay-les-Châteaux, voted 3rd favorite village of the French 2023, you will find a few meters from the medieval castle, all the useful shops as well as the tourist office. Many walks can be taken from the cottage.

Renovated studio – 3rd floor – Bike storage

Newly renovated apartment on the 3rd and top floor of a small building on the quays, on the banks of the Mayenne and at the foot of the city center and all its amenities. The apartment consists of an entrance where you can store your luggage, a living room (table, 4 chairs, TV, bed 140*200, dresser), a kitchen area (oven, range hood, induction cooktop, Senséo, etc.) and a bathroom (shower, sink, toilet, heated towel rail).

Small, private cabin

An invitation to travel, exotic and unique, in a cozy and natural atmosphere where wood and natural materials are omnipresent, this is what defines our little secret cabin. On your terrace, your private jacuzzi invites you to relax in 37°C water and enjoy a privileged view of nature. The small cabin turns into a small mountain chalet from November 1 until mid-March… I look forward to welcoming you.

Beautiful Converted Bread Oven

Le Vieux Fournil still has the original bread oven opening into the living space in this wonderfully quirky building. The kitchen and bathroom are housed in the original woodstore and pig sty and the bedroom is converted in the hayloft. The house is 2 km’s from the historic town of Lassay-les-Châteaux with its fortified medieval chateau., winding streets and gardens.

Independent studio with a view

Our studio of about 50 m2, refurbished and functional, is located in a place called quiet and peaceful on the heights of Ambrières-Les-Vallées. The living room consists of a bed and a sofa bed, accommodating up to 4 people. Access to the greenway on the old railway, used by Vélo Francette, is located about 500 m from us.
