Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Chamula

We definitely enjoyed our stay here. The house oozes with character. It is certainly one of the more unique properties we have stayed in. The good: the rooftop deck, plenty of potable water, comfortable beds, interesting house with nice artwork and furniture. The meh: this house is like an escape room. Without instructions we would never be able to access it or any of the rooms. There are at least 8 or 9 different keys that open different doors around the house. It was very confusing at first and since we arrived at 2am we couldn’t find one of the keys and had to climb out a window to access the second bedroom. We found the key the next morning - it’s all part of the fun of travelling! Also, the bedrooms are on the lower level and although they are comfortable, they get quite humid. The showers are hot, but the temperature goes in and out. Lastly, the house is a 20 minute walk to Plaza de la Paz. We often walked there and took a taxi back for either 50 or 60 pesos. The bad: nothing!

Excellent place, very cozy and enjoyable give many more days to stay

The house is super nice, very colonial and plenty of rooms, the best thing is that since it is a house for many people there are enough bathrooms for everyone, the living room is quite large and the gardens are beautiful

Mr. Armando's house is very nice and cozy, everything was spotless and I take care of every detail to make our stay very pleasant!! Mr. Armando allowed us to arrive a few hours earlier and recommended places to eat!! Always very attentive and friendly, we hope to return soon !!

There is no doubt that excellent location and all the services made us feel at home,(nearby are some food places and a market) if we travel again, we would not last in staying again in that beautiful place,in which we enjoyed cooking with family and even roasting courtes, thank you Rober for making the stay easier and being a good host,more blessings (do not hesitate to book with it)

We had a very comfortable week. The house is very nice and is located near the center, to which you can walk or by taxi and it takes less than 10mins to arrive. Nearby there are laundromats, a local market and shops. You also feel at home: Emanuel is very accessible and friendly. We definitely had a happy time. 😀 Thank you!

Privileged central location

It was 19 people including kids. Fit all of us comfortably. I would recommend only one person to shower at a time otherwise there won’t be enough water pressure and warm water for everyone. It was easy to get places from where we were. Could have probably also walked but it would have been about 1+ miles to get to the restaurants and shops. Enjoyed my stay overall

A super central place! Just a couple of blocks from the night spots, which I found very comfortable as I was quick back on my way out at night. A very quiet street with a great variety of useful establishments around.

The accommodation offered by Rolando is very clean and well located near the center. The value for money is great. Please note that the neighbors' dog and the birds can be noisy, but this is not the owner's fault! I recommend this accommodation for those wanting to visit Oaxaca!

Extremely clean and well located, range was attentive upon our arrival, everything was very good.

We stayed here for two months, April and May. The best thing about this apartment is the beautiful view of San Cristobal and the surrounding mountains from the terrace. The wonderful host, Luis, who lives on the premises, was educated and well-traveled, and we enjoyed talking with him about the different places we had both been in the world. He was also always immediately responsive to any issues we might have. We have lived all over the world since leaving the US 20 months ago, and the kitchen was quite large and, hands down, the best we have had anywhere. Also, we thought the beds were very comfortable. And the property also has its own washer and dryer. The house is divided into several Airbnb rentals. It is pretty walkable to El Centro and the Guadalupe Walking Street—about a 15 to 20-minute walk. In addition, there are restaurants, shops, a pharmacy and an OXXO close by. The park is about a half-block away, and it is easy and inexpensive to get a taxi from there to anywhere in San Cristobal. The downside would be the same as everywhere in Mexico that we have been—noise, although the internet (usually a problem) was actually pretty good here, and compared to other places we have been in Mexico, we really couldn’t complain much. The street has a fair amount of traffic, but we didn’t hear a lot of dogs barking, which is usually a big problem for us in Mexico; however, we did hear firecrackers—sometimes because of people celebrating a particular holiday. We never felt unsafe, especially walking at night, but we always stayed on the main streets in the main areas.

We loved our stay at Larissa's apartment! The location is perfect, we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit in San Cristóbal de las Casas. Larissa was super friendly and attentive from the beginning, she always responded very quickly to the messages, which made everything even easier. The depa was very nice and clean, just as seen in the photos. We felt super comfortable. Also, as an extra tip: don't miss the skites that they sell right down the depa, they are delicious! We were happy and would definitely stay here again. Super recommended!

Chris surprised me with the place. I thought it was small, and had no expectations. Flowers and plants all around, a talkative and full of generosity of Chris that shared the sunset, a beer and life experience, made me feel safe, comfortable and happy. He will do some changes to the place and I’m sure it will be lovely. I love the neighborhood!! I fully recommend it, will visit it again, and will love to see Chris again. Great place, 100% recommended. Beautiful apartment with garden views and city views, great private patio area too. Very clean, quiet, private, a lot of sunlight. Cleaning service includes weekly sheets, towels and etc. changing, Also optional room cleaning. WiFi is super good for working remote. Well furnitured kitchen and spacious. Lots of hot water and water pressure. No dog barking, no street noise. We even got welcome gifts! Location is awesome. Convenient surroundings, bakery, frutas y veduras, cheese, tiendas, barbershop, agua station, and laundry, all in the same street or around the corner or just one block away. Around 5 min. Walk from ADO bus station, 8 min. Walk to the center, 12 min. walk to a mountain view and city view church, 15 min. walk to the SEDEM (a huge sport complex). Ana is responsive and helpful. We definitely return.

My stay was very pleasant, the apartment was very nice and ideal for resting. Elizabeth was on the lookout the whole time and was so nice to us. We will definitely be back with my family.
