Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chancelade

Charmante maison au vert, au calme, parfaitement équipée et impeccablement rangée/nettoyee! Le logement est très agréable et dans un bel environnement, à proximité immédiate de la voie verte. Le jardin est un plus! Marie-Christine est une hôte sympathique, réactive et aidante! On a adoré notre séjour!

Das Haus - wunderschön, ein Altbau, hohe Räume, wunderbar kühl auch bei über 30 Grad, wenn man tagsüber Fenster und Türen schließt und verdunkelt. Ein breites Kuschelsofa und ein guter Fernseher für abends.Trotz Stadt sehr ruhig; jetzt im Juni abends beim Öffnen der Fenster die Rufe der Schwalben und anderer Vögel und süßer Duft (Linden?).Ein schöner kleiner Garten. Alles sehr geschmack- und stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr gute Betten- die Matratzen hätten wir gerne mitgenommen ;))). Alles sehr sauber. Wir empfehlen die zweite Bäckerei auf der Rue Claude Bernard - auch gute Patisserie, und das Restaurant Sous les Tilleuils-, rue judaique - sehr gutes Preis-Leistungverhältnis, eine junge kreative Köchin, reizender, entspannter Service. Ausflug: unbedingt Brantome, hübsches Städtchen, vom Fluß umgeben, mit Bootstour (unbedingt empfehlenswert, nettes Personal, Infoblätter in Englisch, Deutsch und Spanisch), und von dort aus Bimbillou- Museum, Bar und Foodtruck-schattige Insel mitten im Fluß..

Nous avons apprécié ce gîte simple mais très bien équipé et très agréable à vivre, en particulier avec des jeunes enfants (jeux d'intérieur et d'extérieur à disposition). Le jardin est un vrai plus. L'accueil des hôtes est adorable, alliant discrétion, disponibilité et générosité. Le séjour dans ce gîte a largement dépassé nos attentes. Merci à Françoise et Alain !

Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner chez Anne et avons rencontré une hôte adorable, emplie de bonne humeur. Elle s’est assuré que nous ne manquions de rien pour notre séjour sans pour autant se montrer intrusive. Le logement est encore plus agréable en vrai qu’en photo, le calme la bas y est maître, vous trouverez de quoi vous occuper dans le logement ou bien les activités dans les environs ne manquent pas. Nous pensons déjà au moment où nous reviendrons.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Bernard et un excellent hôte. très accueillant, très clair sur les règles et son potager est magnifique. celà fait plaisir d'arriver chez quelqu'un qui garde l'esprit d'origine d'air BNB. le gîte est fidèle à la description très accessible en voiture et à portée de nombreux commerces.

Séjour agréable malgré un pic de chaleur (une climatisation aurait été un plus), rythmé par les cloches de l'église. L'accès à la mezzanine était un peu sportif pour notre âge. Caroline a été charmante.

Logement très mignon, agréable, fidèle aux photos. Olivier est très réactif et à l'écoute.

Séjour agréable grâce au très bon accueil de Marina et ses conseils utiles pour visiter la ville. L'appartement est confortable, bien équipé, très proche du centre (quelques minutes à pied) et offre des places de parking gratuit dans la rue. J'y ai laissé ma moto une nuit sans aucun souci.

Great location, within minutes walking to restaurants, attractions and main areas. Parking along the river is free and easy to access, about a minutes walk to apartment. The thick walls of the apartment, three layers of glass, kept out the heat and noise during a few very hot days in Périgueux. Apartment has all you need, and so much character. Lots to do in the region, easy driving to Brantome, Bourdielles and many other lovely towns. Lovely to meet Nicole, very friendly and welcoming.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le logement correspondait aux photos et il était très propre. Tony est un hôte accueillant et sympathique. Nous vous recommandons vivement ce logement.

We loved our apartment. It was very clean, comfortable, and right next to the beautiful Perigueux Cathedral. Parking on the street was very easy. The apartment met every need. The bed was great, and the area was quiet. The best was the responsiveness of the management team….they were quick, kind and professional. We had a minor issue with the Wi-Fi, and it was managed immediately. We managed those 13th century stairs, and we are in our early 70’s! Highly recommend, and would book again with this management team. I feel like we stayed in a very unique property. Thank you for a great stay.

Comfortable stay with air conditioner which was needed in the heat wave. Beds very comfortable great bathroom and kitchen provisions appreciated. Parking on street 3 free hours during day and overnight. Great responsive host.

Appartement idéal pour deux couples, avec une bonne literie, une belle cuisine et de belles prestations (climatiseur, boîtiers à clé sécurisé, parking gratuit dans la rue). We loved staying in Nathalies apartment. It is really cozy and very well equipped. The area is a quiet residential neighborhood, but still close to all amenities.
