Thank you, Tasha and Shane, for a magical stay in your little slice of heaven. What a winter wonderland treat... Surrounded by nature - the trees and stars added to the perfect weekend reprieve we were looking for, and received. Hot tub, wood burning stove... couldn't have asked for anything more. Tasha and Shane were such thoughtful and responsive hosts, giving us a plethora of helpful info in regards to all the sights and activities nearby. In the end, we just hunkered down and enjoyed the cozy space they created. Thanks again, Tasha and Shane, for sharing your charming A-frame and peaceful property!

The Riverside Oasis Cottage

We had a great time over the long weekend. We wished the beach would have been of use but that was no fault to the owner as the water levels were super high. Everything was tidy and easy to access. Yaw was quick to respond to any question I had. The cottages were closer together than I had thought they would be which wasn’t a big deal I just hope we weren’t too loud for the neighbours with our kids and late night fires! Would stay again!

Had a great stay. The place is nice and unique. One of the best AIR BNBs we have stayed in. The PDF guid sent by the host explained everything in detail. No complaints at all. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Will definitely visit here again next year. Was referred to me by a friend who stayed here and already 2 of my co-workers asked for the listing link.

Victoria's place is really nice. Bright with a beatiful view of the lake. The hot tub and the wood burning fireplace kept us warm during a snow storm. She is very responsive and helpful with whatever issue or questions you have and it is obvious that she cares about your comfort a lot. This truly is a beach house with a huge waterfront and I would recommmend it to anyone whether its summer or winter.

Our stay at the Northwoods Cottage was simply perfect. Rachel and Tim were so generous, ensuring the trail to their fire pit was shovelled and gravelled so we could enjoy it with our guests. They clearly showed care in ensuring we had a great time, and all our needs would be met. The cottage its self is immaculate. The beds are comfortable, the view is amazing, the modern feel with touches of french farmhouse would make anyone feel cozy! They also had amazing recommendations for our nearby needs. We will definitely be booking another stay in the future. I can't say enough good things about Rachel, Tim and our stay. Highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for a beautiful, serene time!

Stunning cottage on the Ottawa River. Big deck to take in the scenic views. Large, spacious and clean cottage. Screened in porch if it gets buggy. Second deck upstairs to watch the meteor shower. Lots of room to work in the well layed out kitchen. There's even a super hot BBQ. Water moves quickly in this part of the river but makes for excellent swimming. Kids had a blast on the boat and party island. They also caught bass, catfish and even a brown trout right out front of the cottage. We brought our SUPs and had so much fun heading upriver to the black river. We also toured up to the beautiful beach at Petawawa and were close to Pembroke for groceries. Chutes Coulogne is also a great place to visit while in the area. Alex is an excellent host and made sure we had an amazing trip and responsive to our questions. Cottage was extremely clean. All in all an excellent vacation, a great cottage and a fantastic host.

Me and my team stayed there for a week. It was a lovely place. It was a peaceful area and had a beautiful beach nearby. Donald and Donnie were responsive and proactive, always asked us to tell them if we need anything or have any questions. Very friendly couple. The house was neat and tidy. Cozy place. It had all the utilities included which is always a bonus. We had a marvelous time staying there. Overall, great place
