Cottage holiday rentals in Chapel Saint Leonards

We stayed in Oak Cottage at Elms Farm Cottages and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Carol was a fantastic host - very communicative, flexible and helpful and the cottage was perfect - very comfortable and with excellent amenities - all the small things taken care of. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day.

Thanks to Max for letting us use this lovely space. Myself and my partner booked in to get away for a few days and this place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, cosy and tucked away but still able to access all of the activities we planned in Norfolk. The house was spotless clean and you can tell Max has put a lot of thought into the amenities provided (even down to the ice lollies in the freezer!) The hot tub was a perfect touch to relax in the garden with some music on and some bubbles. The stay was amazing. Thank You!

Had such a lovely stay at The Hatchery! It had everything you need and more. The little things were thought about. Really nice quality bedding and towels - and plenty of them! Natalie & family were friendly and kept on top of the hot tub while we were there making sure it had the right chemical levels in etc! It’s a lovely spot for a quiet weekend, near enough to beaches but far enough from the crowds! Lovely!

Spacious house. Good sized rooms. Good outside space. Nice and quiet. Bit difficult to get out of the drive by car as it was on a bend with little visibility. Cooking was by AGA ( except for microwave) . That would be great in winter but not ideal during the hottest week of the year.

We had a wonderful stay here, felt right at home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels for the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful with a short walk to the lake. The hosts came back straight away with my many questions and we are getting a date sorted to book back in next year. One point to make is that there is pub down the road that although google said was open, it isn't at weekends. There is a great little cafe though on the lake that is a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get a food shopping order delivered and a really nice touch of a cake and bottle of wine as we were there celebrating Birthdays. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

Amazing stay! Just what we needed after a busy Christmas. Yew Cottage is in a fantastic location and has lots to offer. We loved the hot tub and it was only a short drive to the closest beach. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a fantastic stay ☺️

This was our second year staying at the cottage. Like last time it was a wonderful holiday and we were sad to go. That Cottage feels like a second home to all of us. And we will be coming again next year. The property is beautiful and cosy. The surrounding area makes you feel so relaxed within nature. In the mornings we were able to see a barn owl on the garden fence. If you want somewhere to relax and unwind in the country I cannot recommend The Cottage enough.

It was an absolutely lovely cottage. Henny checked that everything was fine after the first night and if I needed anything to make my stay there better.

Was a lovely cottage and a lovely village. Didn’t get a chance to visit the tearoom as it was closed while we were there. Had a lovely meal at the local pub. We enjoyed our stay. Few little details in need of attention.

Beautiful one level cottge in the most peaceful setting. We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the birds. The cottage is very unique in having a garden room. Well equipped kitchen, good TV, wifi coverage and nice bathroom. We thought the cottage was also excellent value We enjoyed the Lincolnshire Wolds, which we didn't know much about before visiting. We had day trips to Louth, Cleethorpes beach, International Bomber Command Centre, Elsham Gardens and woodland walks. Plenty to do Note for accessibility: there are 3 steep steps down into the garden room and 3x 1steps in the bedroom/bathroom corridor with one much larger than the others . Tip: arrive in daylight as we struggled to find the cottage in the dark. The owner was helpful when contacted to guide us to it.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our dogs and were made to feel very welcome, the cottage was perfect and homely for us all. had great dog walk and dinner at the New Inn all easily walkable from the cottage.

Lovely shabby chic character terraced cottage. We enjoyed our stay here, nice enclosed rear garden for our dog. There is a nice tearoom a couple of doors away and lovely walking from the door and many great walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Recommend.

My family and I - 4 children from age 9 down to a baby had an excellent stay at Lisa's. The location was perfect for us, we could walk into Hunstanton or any car drives were only short to get where we wanted. The beach is very close and we were lucky to be there on the one warm and still day of the week! The rain didn't put us off being busy and we did so much regardless! The house was clean and tidy and provided a great space for all of us. Lisa communicated very quickly and was helpful. Thank you, we had a great time!

One of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in - spotless and beautiful. There are two great circular walks from your doorstep and the locale is indeed beautiful as is the garden. Garden great for our dogs too.

Such a lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful area. Only 3 mins walk to the beach and such a wonderful beach, plenty of local amenities 20 mins walk or 5 mins drive into Hunstanton with lots to do, the walk into Hunstanton is well worth it, it is a lovely easy walk along the cliff with lovely scenery. Cottage is well equipped, everything you need to make you feel at home. It was very clean and fresh and we felt very relaxed and comfortable during our stay. The garden is lovely and gets the sun all afternoon into the evening. Would definitely recommend Ridge Cottage. Ideal location for visiting the Norfolk area. Will definitely stay here again I. the future.

Great 1 bedroomed place to stay on the countryside but only a few mins from Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Great host!

Wonderful place to stay, peaceful and full of nature. Lovely accommodation cleaned and fresh. Everything you need. Highly recommend

The cottage has been planned and presented with excellent attention to detail. The gardens are huge and so well maintained. The gardens have lots of little 'hidden places' and quirky details that add to the whole experience. We loved the location, as it's off the beaten track but, not at the end of a dreadful dirt track but, amidst lovely open fields and with well laid access. Don't expect a million shops or restaurants in walking distance but, nice pubs and food are short drives away. Local town about 20 mins easy drive. A perfect haven for two people looking for peace and quiet.

Our stay at Lifeboat cottage was lovely, perfect for myself and my daughter. Hetti left Coffee and Tea, sugar and a lovely cake for us. The bedrooms were a good size and plenty of wardrobe space. The shower was powerful and spacious . One thing to note is that the TV is not a Smart TV so may be worth bringing an Amazon Firestick .

Amazing place one of the nicest I have stayed away from home, and instantly felt comfortable. If I’m ever in the area again I would stay here 100%. I can’t praise the cleanliness enough (hotel standard) and the complimentary items are a really lovely touch. Communication was great. Thank you both

Our stay at Thor's Garden Homestead was excellent, this charming property offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The spacious living areas provided ample room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The location is ideal for exploring the local area, with easy access to scenic walks and attractions. It served as the perfect base for our visits to Lincoln Cathedral and Castle, the International Bomber Command Centre, RAF Coningsby, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and the nearby coast—Skegness, Sandilands, Sutton on Sea, and Mablethorpe were all within reach. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful countryside retreat with great access to both culture and coast

The cottage was perfectly clean and comfortable in a lovely, peaceful location. The adults appreciated the wine, and the kids loved their Easter eggs! The weather allowed us to enjoy the garden and the kids had fun with the toys. A perfect location for exploring local walk and bike routes.

The cottage really was beautiful and to a high spec. Loads of space, great decor, comprehensive instructions. I really think Clare has thought of everything. I would highly recommend staying here, and such beautiful countryside as well.
