Upon booking, Juliette contacted me in order to better organize our arrival and prepare the beds (distribution of guests in the rooms). She was always easy to communicate with. The rental is as described, the place is really very pretty in the immediate vicinity of the banks of the Loire and many cave wineries (but not only). Ideal for visiting Ambroise and its castle, Clos Lucé, but also Chenonceaux and Loches.

This place, is great. Although it’s small, it is very functional and has more than adequate bathroom space. It’s lovely and so clean! It was a great stay. The free parking lot across the street usually has places free (especially in the evenings and mornings), but once, returning early from a day of driving to chateaus, I found the lot full so had to wait a few minutes for a spot to open up. It wasn’t long. People staying in other towns come to see the castle and Leonardo Da Vinci’s house, so it may be more crowded around mid-day. Also, the roll out bed was a bit firm for my taste, but I still slept well and it’s nice to have the floor space during the day (easy to pull out/put away). The 2 windows face the river, have shades, and open to a lovely breeze - I didn’t need the AC at all and preferred the fresh air. The stairs are quite steep and curve around, but I didn’t have any issues getting luggage up - just don’t be too ambitious taking everything at once, they’re narrow.

This beautiful wooden house on a hillside and surrounded by greenery delighted us for 4 days. Small and cozy, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The construction and decoration are carried out with care. The shaded terrace invites you to contemplate, in peace. We really feel that the owners have thought of our well-being in every detail. The bike storage is very convenient. Cycling around offers you plenty of possibilities. It's a bit of a climb to get there, but the view is worth it ;) We recommend this property!
