Villa holiday rentals in Charkia

We hebben enorm genoten van onze vakantie bij Kostas. De accommodatie is nog mooier in het echt dan op de foto’s. Het is een prachtige, ruime villa met een grote tuin eromheen + eigen zwembad. De communicatie met Kostas verliep goed. Hij wilde graag helpen. De accommodatie was schoon en had verschillende voorzieningen. Na twee dagen had ik helaas allemaal bultjes op mijn benen wat leek op vlooienbeten (vermoedelijk van de katten die ‘s nachts op de stoelen liggen). Ik heb Kostas hierover bericht en hij schakelde meteen een bestrijdingsdienst in. Dit werd erg gewaardeerd. Daarna geen last meer gehad van deze beten. We zouden de accommodatie van Kostas zeker aanbevelen!

Zusammenfassend können wir die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Wir waren 3 kleine Familien mit insgesamt 4 Kindern. Das Haus und das Grundstück waren sehr gepflegt. Der Außenbereich mit Pool und großen Garten lädt ein für entspannte Tage am Pool und entspanntes Beisammensitzen. Die Lage ist ruhig und man ist auf ein Auto angewiesen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft zu 100% weiter. Tolle Gastgeberin.

Adamantios is a wonderful host. The villa is beautiful and exactly as described in the photos. We were made to feel welcome straight away woth homemade cake and olive oil as well as other bits. Adamantios was quick to respond to any questions we had and jumped to our rescue when our rental car battery died! The villa is t really walking distance to anywhere so my top recommendation would be to get a rental car with good AC! There are very few places around the area to park in the shade so if you have rubbish AC like we did, the journeys can be stressful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a bit of space from the business of local areas and wanting to switch off at the gorgeous pool!

Our stay at HotelPraxis was incredible and Polimnia was the most gracious host I have experienced in my 10 years in Airbnb. She was close by but never intrusive, left snacks, fruits and water in the fridge, dropped eggs off, recommended restaurants and incredibly, made baked goods of some traditional Greek treats that were so delicious. My family was overwhelmed by the beauty and privacy of the Blue Lake Villa. And the home is lovely, fluffy towels, great water pressure, comfortable beds. What a treat! We will definitely return! I highly recommend.

A little piece of paradise We had an unforgettable stay as a couple in this beautiful apartment in Agia Pelagia. Every morning started with breakfast under the bougainvillea, watching the sunrise over the sea – absolutely magical. Just a few steps and we were swimming in crystal-clear water. Pure bliss! The apartment is stylish, spotless, and well-equipped with all essentials like soap, detergent, and toilet paper. The kitchen allowed us to prepare meals comfortably and had all the necessary utensils. A lovely surprise was the thoughtful welcome gift: coffee, wine, fruit, cookies, and water – such a kind gesture. Shops are just minutes away on foot, and everything was super convenient. We truly felt at home and appreciated the care the hosts put into every detail. We’re already dreaming of coming back! Thank you for everything!

Ich kann den Aufenthalt in einem Wort zusammenfassen und zwar mit „Traumhaft“ Die Schlafzimmer, die Badezimmer, die Küche und vorallem der Außenbereich mit dieser wunderschönen Aussicht. Würden jederzeit wieder in diese Unterkunft sollten wir wieder nach Kreta fliegen. Einfach perfekt!

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 6 Mädels und hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit in der Villa! Die Unterkunft war absolut sauber, schön eingerichtet und perfekt ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den großartigen Service: Bei Fragen oder Anliegen wurde sofort reagiert und uns super freundlich weitergeholfen. Die Lage war ebenfalls top – ruhig, aber dennoch nah an allem, was man braucht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können die Villa zu 100 % weiterempfehlen. Danke für diese tolle Zeit!

Absolut top Villa, modern, sauber, ruhig, rundum top! Von der Villa aus hat man die beste Aussicht, absolut überragend. Einziger Hinweis, die Einfahrt ist sehr steil, mit unserem gemieteten Fiat Panda kamen wir nicht hoch, konnten aber direkt vor der Einfahrt parken. Wir können diese Villa jedem empfehlen der auf der Suche nach Ruhe und Erholung ist, mit traumhaftem Ausblick. In naher Umgebung gibt es tolle, einfache Restaurants, zu Fuß erreichbar.

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Lovely house nice a quiet and peaceful good location in the middle of the island easy to find. The English host / contact was brilliant very friendly and nice could help more and provided loads of recommendations

Beatiful view and nice downstairs appartment with own pool and yard. Parking lot had always room for our car. From parking lot there are deep stairs down to the appartments yard. We came late in evening and it was little bit difficult to get in without light on the appartment door. Pool was great for swimming and view fo Chania and sea bay just amazing. If you have lot of electronic devices with you, take a power strip with you. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet during our stay in April. Really nice place to relax and enjoy life.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We loved staying at Petros's place. The location is picture perfect and completely serene, coupled with the stunning views - perfect getaway gem. The villa is beautifully designed with lots of places to explore and hang out in. Petros is very accommodating and all around helpful from assisting us in setting up the outdoor speakers to offering to make restaurant reservations on our behalf. We had an absolutely amazing time and hope to stay at the villa again when we come back to Crete. Highly recommend!

Das tolle Haus, mit dem Pool befindet sich in einer unglaublich schönen, ruhigen Umgebung. Man ist sehr privat. Wir ( 6 Personen) haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Fotos sind real. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich mit frischem Obst, besonders lecker die Zitronen, und frischem Wasser. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Es ist ein Luxus, dass jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad hat. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, ebenso der Sternenhimmel jede Nacht. Restaurants sind in 10 min zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Christos und Giorgos sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war schnell und unkompliziert. Ein wirklich schöner Urlaub zum abschalten und genießen.

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

We had an incredible stay with our family. The photos do not do it justice. It’s so beautiful and so peaceful. There were many lovely welcome food and drinks that we really appreciated. We had many activities and family in the area so we were out and about but were always looking forward to coming back to enjoy the house, the pool, and the gorgeous view. We also loved the hot tub when we got a little chilled from swimming since it was a bit early in season. We made sure to have a day to just do that. We used the indoor/outdoor theatre one night and that was really fun. All the rooms and the kitchen were perfectly appointed. Everything was so well thought out. We can’t wait to come again and stay longer and have time to use the outdoor kitchen, the gorgeous dining room and enjoy the beautiful pool and view again. Thank you Evi for an incredible stay at this beautiful house!

We only have positive things to say about our stay at this Villa! Manolis and Zania were extremely friendly, helpful and were gracious enough to greet us upon arrival. They even filled the refrigerator with groceries for us. Everything was as advertised on the website . We loved swimming in the pool, played ping-pong and basketball almost every day . Each room had one large TV, a comfortable bed, fresh clean linens and large windows with a view of the beautiful yard. We also loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer. Everything was also within proximity; from beaches to Rethymno city centre, supermarkets and local taverns . We would highly recommend this Airbnb to any large group of people staying in Crete. This definitely won’t be the last time we stay at this villa. Thanks again Manoli and Zania for making our vacation unforgettable. Till next time!

Beautiful breathtaking villa. Everything was designed with such thought and detail. Both adults and the kids felt so at home for the week and it was the perfect base to explore more of the island. Local village with some great amenties is walkable (just down a very bumpy/ dusty road) Nothing was too much trouble for the owner Athina, she organised all our taxis and food deliveries. Will be back again!!!

Fick ett fint välkomnande! Bodde i lägenheten en vecka med mina vänner och boendet var över våra förväntningar. Det såg ut som på bilderna. Superfint! Alla var väldigt nöjda med bokningen av boendet och skulle kunna tänka sig att åka dit igen.

Ett fantastiskt hus med underbar havsutsikt och alla bekvämligheter! Smakfullt inrett med bra kvalitet både inomhus och utomhus. Mycket privat läge utan insyn. Ljuvlig altan med pool, parasoller och utemöbler. Blev mottagna personligen i huset på utsatt tid och fick en rundvisning av huset och alla funktioner samt en korg med specialiteter från Kreta. Gångavstånd ca 5-10 min till Plakias med affärer och restauranger. Det enda vi hade önskat var några fler krokar att hänga kläder på.

Super lieve mensen. Alles was goed geregeld. Ondanks de zandstorm hebben ze echt een top service gegeven. We kregen er als sorry zelfs pizza voor terug terwijl ze er niks aan konden doen. Heel lief. Zeker een villa om een keer naar toe te gaan.

Mehr geht einfach nicht! Die Villa ist schöner als auf den Bildern! Es ist einer der schönsten Orte, eins der schönsten Häuser und einer der besten Ecke auf Kreta! Allerdings muss man mit sich selbst etwas anfangen können, denn es ist wenig drum herum los. Aber so etwas hochwertiges haben wir selten gesehen! Alle Materialien des Hauses sind so toll zusammen ausgesucht und es ist einfach nur wunderschön 🤩

We spent our holiday at Vasilios Villa from June 2nd to 14th with a group of 10 friends – and it was absolutely fantastic. The villa is modern, extremely clean, and perfectly suited for a group getaway. It’s also a great base for exploring the beautiful region of Crete. Despite being spacious, it’s located in a quiet area, making it ideal for relaxing. Daily service was excellent: the trash was collected every day, and the pool was checked and cleaned regularly. On top of that, the villa was thoroughly cleaned twice during our stay – the service left nothing to be desired. Communication with the hosts was exceptional. When one of the air conditioners stopped working, they responded immediately – even on a public holiday – and fixed the problem quickly. We truly appreciated their dedication and professionalism. All in all, it was a perfect stay and a holiday we will remember for a long time. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this villa in Crete! The location was absolutely perfect—centrally positioned on the island, it made exploring both the east and west sides, as well as all the nearby towns, super convenient. The house itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported throughout our visit. The grounds were impeccably maintained and much larger than the photos portray. One of the highlights was the charming taverna right next door, and there were plenty of other great restaurants less than 10 minutes away by car. The warm hospitality from everyone we met made it feel like a true home away from home. We can’t wait to return one day and would wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone planning a trip to Crete.
