Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Charles City County

This was a wonderful, charming place. So easy to find and check in. It was absolutely clean and tidy. Check in and check out were easy. I was a little nervous at first for street parking in Richmond can be difficult, but it wasn't an issue at any time of the day or evening when we returned to the home. Sitting on the porch enjoying the weather after a day of touring the city was so pleasant. The area is peaceful and quiet. It is perfectly placed for access to all activities in Richmond but quiet and restful in the evening and sleeping, away from the hustle bustle of the city. We will happily stay again when the need arises.

My family was surprised that we found the house for the price of our stay—and it fit our needs perfectly. It’s dog friendly—we didn’t bring them not realizing this. Urbana is such a cute town. There was even a bike (we didn’t use as we had tons of things to do) !

We totally enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for a small weekend get away and very close to the ferry to hop over to the city.

This is our second trip to the Bamboo bungalow and it continues to be a perfect spot for our Busch Gardens / Williamsburg / Water Country vacation! A short drive to all three, and right off the highway -- very easy to get in and out. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby. The place itself is nestled deep in the bamboo, which shelters you from road noise and lights. Ample rooms with comfy furniture and a nice assortment of games and puzzles makes it really nice for chilling/relaxing after a day at the attractions. Definitely appreciated all the hooks, linens, kitchen accessories - they kept us organized right to the end :). There is only one bathroom, but the hot water lasted through four showers in a row. A/C and ceiling fans worked great, too. We'll be back!

We were just staying there because of work, but it was in a cool area and if you like the outdoors there is a big trail.

We had a great stay at Sarah’s place. She made sure we felt right at home and had everything we needed. I loved having plenty of towels, comfy beds, and a fun outdoor space. It even has a full length mirror, which most stays are lacking! Thank you, Sarah!

Crystal's condo was spotless and an easy place to stay. Crystal was very proactive and made us feel welcome. her dinner suggestions were superb too! perfect for a weekend getaway in a resort atmosphere. Thank you so much, we highly recommend!

Charming cottage at a family-owned, lovingly-crafted campground. It suited our needs perfectly. We traveled with our dog and all the other dogs on site were all on leashes and well-behaved. The staff was very helpful and we would definitely stay here again!

Loved staying here, though there wasn't much to do around it is within a 30 minute drive to Williamsburg! Enjoyed the peaceful setting as it was great for our dog! The wifi didn't work well but was nice to be disconnected a bit, would recommend staying here for a quite time!

We had a great stay—the backyard is beautiful and peaceful; the pool resort-quality and refreshing; kitchen well-equipped for preparing chef-quality meals; house full of interesting reads, artwork, and games. Everyone from 9 to 92 enjoyed the house. We also explored the neighborhood and found it close to all sorts of interesting places right out the front door. Would definitely stay again next time we come to Richmond.

It is an incredible property, pictures and words don’t do it justice. The home, grounds and neighborhood are very well appointed with a wonderful layout. There are multiple outdoor gathering areas, we saw swans daily, the bird and frog songs were enchanting. We walked the neighborhood every day. The pool and landscaping were amazing. The master wing is exceptional. We were there for a family wedding and the “princess” dressing room was very well used. The master bath/ shower room has a steam feature that we enjoyed and the” sparkly” bath and shower were magical for our grandkids ( and the adults.). The art and collections were exotic and everyone, not just the grandchildren were enchanted. We entertained 10-25 guests comfortably each evening. As to previous reviews about cleanliness-it was fine, as per linens, everything was available, clean, folded. PS if you want the St. Regis this property has much more to offer than fluffy robes and slippers. We will be back!

A great place to stay if you are in the area. Owners are very accommodating, house was clean, and very private which we loved. No issues during our stay and Virginia was even nice enough to set a time for our children to see the donkeys that they have on their property when we asked if we could visit them. 100% will stay here again!

We were on vacation and planned to go to Busch gardens and water country USA. The property was only about an hour away and we got to go on the ferry which the kids absolutely loved! That was a first time experience for many of us so that was a real treat. The property itself was just as pictured. It was nice and private and the kids enjoyed the swings and the giant checker table. The cabin had everything we needed during our stay and it was very homey. We be more than happy to stay here again or recommend it to anyone that would be visiting the area. Keisha was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well.

Wonderful place! Our friends really enjoyed their stay in Petersburg and this will now be our go-to rental for visitors. Regan and Mark were very responsive, the place was clean and nicely appointed. No street or restaurant noise! There are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment, but it is well worth it (and a big reason why there is no outside noise). Highly recommend!

Ashley and Ben’s Blue Pearl Cottage was one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at, and we’ve been to a lot! The home was spotless and inviting. The back porch was perfect for hanging out in, relaxing and reading. We loved kayaking and exploring too. Ashley and Ben thought of everything you need. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay! This condo had great high ceilings, which made the place feel very spacious. There were close spots to quickly park and unload suitcases, and no stairs to climb. There are so many things to do within walking distance, such as great restaurants and visiting the beautiful capitol building area. Parking is included and just around the block in a safe garage, which is such a plus when staying downtown. We definitely would book this space again! Whit is very helpful, friendly and responsive!

Hannah’s tiny home was perfect for an overnight trip with my 2 dogs. The space was clean and included lots of different amenities. The bed was very comfy. Highly recommend!
