We are just a short drive to the Sand Dunes, Vineyards of Leelanau Peninsula and Old Mission Peninsula, and Traverse City. Outdoor opportunities to hike, swim, fish and boat abound in this area. Relax with the whole family on 3 acres in this cozy space in Thompsonville. Bathroom professionally remodeled in December 2022. Just a short drive from Traverse City, Frankfort, beautiful beaches and Sleeping Bear Dunes. This is a prime location for many activities such as fishing, golfing, skiing, hiking etc. Located on a rural dirt road that dead ends into state land with ORV trails that are snowmobile trails in winter (trail 3). Horseshoe driveway makes it convenient for trailer access.

One room rustic cabin with private bath Sleeps 4 max comfortably. Small refrigerator, coffee pot ,microwave, outdoor firepit, and outdoor propane grill. Heat in cabin is a propane space heater and electric space heater. Overlooking small pond. We currently have bald eagles and golden eagles sighted daily. Close to the snowmobile trail, 4-wheeler trails, horse trails and the Pigeon River State forest. I-75 does run along side of property, but has a tree line which blocks the sight of it.

Ogletree Creek Cabin, beauty and tranquility

Ogletree Cabin is a private retreat nestled on 85 acres of stunning hardwood and pines- just a three-minute walk to lovely Toad Lake. The beach is a great jumping-off place to swim out to the raft, fish on Toad Lake (where we are the only house on the lake), sit on the screened-in porch off of the fishing shack, and go kayaking and canoeing. Please take note that the cabin has one bedroom with queen and a loft with three beds accessible by a ladder only and not safe for young children.
