Mansion holiday rentals in Charlotte

This past weekend, my husband and I, brought our family and kids down from NY to visit. Not only was the house amazing and suited everyone perfectly for our activities, but Michelle and her team went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible stay. From the pool, to the views outdoors, we even saw a family of deer hanging around on the property and the kids loved it, the house was breath taking and so much to do. We will absolutely book here in the future and recommend this property to all future renters.

Great 4 bedroom home on the lake with 7 beds. The dock and beach were perfect for a lake getaway and close to most things to do on lake Norman. Only 30 mins from the charlotte airport, highly recommend staying here.

We came to Charlotte for a disc golf trip and it was exactly what we were looking for and a great location! It was easy to find, easy to get in, convenient parking, clean, and comfortable accomodations. The bag boards and grill in the backyard were also very welcoming. I'd recommend their place to anyone staying in the area!

Miranda was a wonderful host and the house is absolutely beautiful. It’s hard to believe that people actually live there and yet it has so much character and pizazz that you know they do. Miranda got us in a little early and left fresh flowers and snacks—truly above and beyond. This is not a knock on the house *whatsoever,* just an FYI: for post-20-something adults, I’d say the house sleeps 3 (6 if bed-sharing couples) because the couches aren’t sleepers. The description is accurate, just adding a bit of nuance based on my experience. Overall, I recommend it highly.

To those of you who are considering booking this home for your next vacation--I cannot recommend it more. Brian and Regina are the ultimate hosts. From day one, Brian arrived and explained the many features of the house, and welcomed myself and my friend group with unbelievable kindness. They hosted an art night for our group, and Regina was the perfect teacher. She was even kind enough to laugh at our terrible jokes. Brian--I'm coming back for that bourbon tasting. The house isn't like the photos, but that's only because it's BETTER than the photos. The dock is perfect for a daytime swim, the hot tub perfect for an "after cocktails dip" as we so often called it, and the beds are supremely soft. We laughed, drank, spent time on the lake, and all of that is thanks to Brian and Regina's beautiful home. This was, by and large, the best place I could have chosen to spend my twenty-fifth birthday. Do yourself a favor and book this house; you will struggle to find some way to regret it.

Stayed here for my bachelor trip, it fit all 8 of us very comfortably. The host was responsive and checked in the make sure we were doing good and everything was in order. Uber’s didn’t have issues finding us and the privacy was perfect for grilling out and back and cutting up by the fire pit.

We rented Steven’s home for a corporate stay. The location is perfect for walking distance to bars and restaurants. The home was clean, trendy and welcoming. I would recommend this home 10/10 to my friends and family!

The house was great and there’s plenty of space, if there was anything we needed Skylar was responsive and good with communication. We will definitely be staying again.

Super spacious and clean. Very nice neighborhood. It is on the main road but none of us had issues with the noise. Close to all the stores, restaurants and bars you could need/want. Downtown Matthews is such a cute place. About a half hour from the airport and downtown Charlotte. The back patio was amazing, that is where we spent a majority of our time watching TV and hanging out. We loved the fenced in yard, and it does have wire fencing over it so your pets can’t get out. There was not a grill but we purchased a cheap charcoal grill to use. The house had all the dishes you could need. The lighting in the kitchen is pretty dim but during the day all the natural light comes in, nighttime is when it’s most noticeable. I highly recommend booking this house, we really enjoyed our stay and Josh was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Dean’s home was absolutely spectacular. Breathtaking view of the lake, very well decorated, clean, and large enough to accommodate our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. He went above and beyond by getting balloons, flowers and a cake that I had requested for my mother‘s birthday. We would definitely stay there again. It is worth your time to check out.

Our stay was wonderful!! The house was big enough for our family(plus fur child) daughter's family,and my mom. Loved the big kitchen, all the bedrooms, bathrooms, pool table and fireplace. It was nice having a carport to be able to unload our groceries since a pop-up thunderstorm decided to happen when we went to grocery store. We came for the Metallica concert- but hoping to be able to come again and visit some more of surrounding areas of Charlotte- and would love to stay again at the Wesley House!! (Son loved Wesley in the backyard)

Diana was amazing! The Airbnb was clean and was the perfect size for my group. I loved how I was able to bring my pet as well. I will definitely be back to stay here!

Ashley communicated some damage (broken couch, toilet paper holder, etc. )from previous guests in advance of our stay. She was working to correct these as quickly as possible. None of the damage was significant and it didn’t affect our stay.

Our stay at Joes was perfect, back yard was beautiful, beds were comfy and in a beautiful neighborhood. We did have a few hiccups that were completely out of the hosts control and they were so quick to get on the issues and great with communication! Thanks so much and we’ll be back again!

We had the best time! Amazing house and host. The heated pool and fenced in backyard were perfect for enjoying family time. The entire house was very clean and organized with everything we needed. The host was extremely proactive with communications and responsive for the few things we needed. Highly recommended!

Great stay, the house was especially flexible for our 4 small children. There were some good toys for the babies and means of childproofing. Everything was very well kept up and clean. Nice neighborhood, easy access to playground and pool, and relatively close to everything we were in town for(CMS and Discovery Place) My only problem was our bed was on the firm and warm side. Otherwise this is a solid recommend. Thanks!

My family and I stayed 2 nights while in town for the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow and had an amazing experience! After walking close to 5 miles on the golf course, it was so nice to come home to this little slice of paradise. From cooling off in the pool to relaxing in the hot tub to taking a 5-star shower in the exquisite master bathroom, it was the perfect place to unwind. In the evenings, our older kids walked to the nearby by eateries for some drinks and live music while my beautiful wife and I stayed behind and enjoyed playing pool and sitting by the outdoor fire pit playing games with our two youngest sons before finally dozing off watching a movie on one of the several HD smart TVs throughout the home. As much as we enjoyed ourselves, our family dog Indy might have enjoyed it the most (see picture). The hosts are extremely pet friendly which was a bit surprising, in a good way, based on how spotless the home was upon arrival. We will be back anytime we visit Charlotte!!!

If you are looking for a home on the lake with stunning views from almost every room, look no further. You will enjoy your meals looking out at the lake, a cozy fire and a lake view, or lounging lazily on a memory foam mattress with the lake in view. However, the view isn’t all you will enjoy. There are enough televisions for everyone’s tastes, games, beach towels, a pool, deck furniture, a fire pit, and a covered dock. Surely everyone will find something to do. I was really impressed at how clean the house was, how well-stocked the kitchen was, and the thoughtfulness of providing toiletries/Kleenex. Mike and Jorge are definitely super hosts!

Shared a wonderful stay with my adult daughters to have a very nice pool day.

Patrick was a wonderful host! Very responsive whenever we had a question or need. The location was perfect for a family vacation, readily accommodating seven adults and four grandkids, ages 1 to 8. Fabulous views of the lake from the house and pool deck. Our grandkids caught many fish from the dock, including a couple of nice catfish. The kayaks were easy to launch and retrieve, and our 22 foot boat fit nicely alongside the outer dock. Five stars in all regards!

5 of us stayed here for an extended family wedding. We primped and prepped and had plenty of room for that. Two of the upstairs bedrooms were smaller than I expected. The sheets, pillows, and towels were soft and clean. The beds were comfortable. There were lots of shampoo, soap and toilet paper. The common rooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen had every tool I needed. The screened in porch got a lot of use. Everyone walked around the lake and grabbed some food in Pineville. Julie was very responsive when we had questions.
