Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Chartwell

I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

We spent several weeks at Lisa’s place and loved every moment. Lisa was super communicative and always on hand if we had a question. We liked being situated in Melville which is easily walkable and has lots of unique places to visit, especially the cafes on 7th street, 27 Boxes and morning walks up on the Koppies which are a must if staying in the area. Thanks again Lisa for being a great host, we hope to stay again!

We felt right at home during our stay - the space was warm, beautifully set up, and had everything we needed, including more than enough blankets to keep us cozy. It was a pleasure staying at Charmaine’s. The house is spacious, very well equipped and comfortable - a real home away from home. The garden was also a welcome distraction for the kids. A lovely, large and well equipped house with garden and pool within walking distance of Parkhurst restaurants and shops. A great place to stay if visiting Joburg - felt very comfortable. Hannah was very professional and friendly and we felt very at home.

Victor was an amazing host. I was there for a week and nothing was too much trouble for him. He bought some extra things that I needed - a fan, a toaster. Having Victor on the same property was also very reassuring as I am recovering from surgery and felt a little vulnerable. I would strongly recommend this stay as everything worked well and I felt incredibly welcome. Definitely would go back under similar circumstances! Thanks Victor

Wonderful short stay at Ingrids place. Pristine accomodation in beautiful suburb with easy access to transport/e hailing services. Host is super friendly and attended to all my needs.

Jeremy and Janet were absolutely wonderful hosts who welcomed both me and my pup with open arms. They're genuinely lovely people - the kind you could chat with for hours about anything and everything. Their helper Kingsley was fantastic too, always making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is stunning - gorgeous architecture with beautiful paintings throughout that honestly made me feel like I was staying in some charming European home. The neighborhood felt really safe as well. I parked on the street every day without any worries and enjoyed walking around the area regularly. Overall, this was such a great experience with truly exceptional hosts. I'd recommend Jeremy and Janet to anyone looking for a special place to stay - you won't be disappointed!

I had a great time at Rose’s place. Very spacious and private. Rose welcomed me by the gate even though I arrived at night and she was hospitable. The check-in and check-out times were very flexible. Would definitely stay again.

Nkulie and her co-host, are great. They have exceptional communication skills and are kind, helpful and thoughtful. I would advise the next person to have a great stay with you other half for a serene stay.

A fantastic, modern place that was very comfortable, homely and equipped with all that is needed and more. It also comes with beautiful views of the golf course and sunsets. The hosts were amazing and they went out their way to make us feel at home and welcomed. A really fantastic stay. We really enjoyed it and would recommend highly.

Charming neighborhood/place and helpful host.

Chiara and Jono's space was absolutely beautiful and so welcoming! They made us and our dogs feel so at home. Their two gorgeous dogs were very well behaved and friendly. We would absolutely visit again and definitely recommend the space to our family and friends 🧡

Exactly as pictured and more!! What a treat, tucked away and surrounded by beautiful greenery all around the property. It is decorated with stunning pieces but still feels like home away from home. My visit was short but I will be back. Tash and the housekeeper Shayla were so sweet and helpful through the entirely of our stay.

This cute place was neat as a pin and extremely comfortable. Lots of little “extras” We were very grateful for the coffee, milk and rusks provided and all the little bathroom amenities. This was a perfect safe location for the places that we needed to visit while my son was on a school tour. I couldn’t fault a thing from original booking, communication to arrival and checking in, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we needed to come to Centurian from KZN again.
