Saint Jean du Pin is a living space at the foot of the Cévennes, a stone's throw from places steeped in history, where the Camisard or miner has been able to adapt to a harsh nature while respecting it. From the ruins of Soucanton to the summit of Montcalm, from the dolmens of Sognes to the arboretum of Sauvages, from the hamlet of Tresmont to the plain of Plos, you will have plenty of time to pass from valleys to ridges while breathing in pines, chestnut trees and mimosas. Welcome to Saint Jean du Pin, the village where the living is good.

Woodland Cabin - Margot Bed & Breakfast

Our cozy cabin comprises of 3 small separate buildings set in private woodland next to a 200 year old poplar tree & a gentle rocky stream clattering in the background. The cabin is essentially off-grid meaning the water comes from the stream originating the “chalambelle” on the Ardeche plateau. There is electricity, hot water, shower, a compost toilet and a wood-burner. It is suitable for 2 people. Breakfast is included and brought to you in the morning. Dinner can also be arranged onsite.

On the edge of the Païolive wood, this very old forest where the Chassezac river flows, you will discover at the bend of a trail a curious arch perched on rocks carved by erosion. Pauline will welcome you to this unusual and comfortable little ecological cocoon. Entirely designed and built by us, it has the essentials to spend a few days in peace and quiet in the heart of nature. Close to: swimming, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, canoeing, tree climbing, etc...

Want to discover Ardèche in an unusual way? Stay in a 7-meter-high wooden cabin perched in the trees. Lulled by the song of birds and cicadas, you can recharge your batteries in the greatest calm and as close to nature as possible. The accommodation is located in the heart of the Pays des Vans in Cévennes, an ideal location for visiting South Ardèche. We will welcome you in an independent part of our house located in an isolated hamlet 3 minutes from Florac by car. Perfect place for lovers of outdoor activities (canoeing, hiking, via ferrata, climbing, mountain biking, swimming etc...). We can inform you about these different activities outside of our working hours. PLEASE NOTE: July and August reservations are only for the week (check-in on Saturday from 3pm and checkout at 10am max the following Saturday).

Sorène – A Cabin in the Cévennes

Our tree house is located in the heart of nature, in the Cévennes National Park. Nestled between holm oaks, chestnut trees and heather, it is a small haven of peace and poetry. Hiking trails start from the cabin and will allow you to discover the Cévennes landscapes and enjoy the rivers... Our goat farm is located 50 m from the cabin: so you can, if you wish, meet our goats, of a rustic and rare breed (more than 800 individuals in the world).

Le Mazet

Located in a peaceful setting, the mazet is in the heart of a typical hamlet of southern Ardèche. You can reach the Chassezac River in 5 minutes by car, the Cocaliére Cave, the Pont d'Arc Cave and the Pont d'Arc (Gorges de l'Ardèche) in half an hour. The site has beautiful sunshine; it is close to swimming areas. You can practice canoeing, climbing, tree climbing, caving. You can also enjoy Thai massages.

The Ustaou of the Chota

Small cocoon of love, with magnificent views, 6 km from Aubenas. This shelter was self-built with eco-friendly materials. The walls are made of straw, wood and earthen coating. Beautiful wooden terrace, where it's good to rest. Lots of walks nearby. If our 2 homes are available at the same time. Oustaou and Hulotte. Possibility to come as a group of 4 while having your privacy.

Mais Lou Abeilhs

A small clède, renovated into a cottage, overlooking the Mas, lost in the depths of the Cévennes mountain between oaks and chestnuts. You can enjoy 21.5 m² (kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom). The cléde has two adjoining private terraces. Available to all, we have several terraces, including one by the stream with a natural pool where you can cool off.
