Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Chassezac

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We had a great time at this beautiful place. The house is wonderfully embedded in nature. It's very quiet, you only hear the sound of nature, the creek, the animals. From there we had a lot of opportunity to hike with our dog. Banne and the surrounding places are wonderful for those who love hiking or scenery. It was very clean and mega nicely built and furnished. Anne was very kind and discreet, we were able to enjoy this privacy very much. The apartment is well-equipped and has everything you need. Marion's cottage is great! It is nicely decorated and the outdoor space with the hammocks on the tree were favorites with us. The fireplace also gave a lot of atmosphere in the evening. From the house you can take very nice walks and during your walk you will come across places where you can swim /take a dip. So even in summer it is very nice to be here (we were there in winter, although we still had many sunny days). Depoudent itself is a mini hamlet, but at not too long driving distance you have various nice villages. We would recommend this place to anyone who loves peace, nature & hiking:-)!

The house is in a beautiful setting in a beautiful part of the world. There are many superb walks you can do from the house and many more a short drive away. Everything is as described and worked without problems. Very well equipped. Pascale answered any questions promptly and provided excellent local information. If this is your sort of country the house is thoroughly recommended.

Great stay with friends or small and large children had a great time! Very beautiful spaces, charm and taste! We could easily have stayed there the whole stay, we feel so good in this house! Very nice and safe pool for children, we enjoyed it 😃😃

Family with a child and a baby, we stayed 5 nights at Nickie's house. We had a lovely stay. The house was clean and particularly well equipped. We also enjoyed the exteriors and especially the private beach a few minutes walk from the accommodation. The baby amenities were great. The view from the house is great. There are plenty of hikes to do nearby. Off season, plan a few groceries and/or cash. We particularly enjoyed the village market of Sainte Croix Vallée Française (on Nickie's advice). We warmly recommend this accommodation and a big thank you to Nickie and Yves for their little touches, trust and hospitality!

Relaxing weekend with family, our two children and our dog, we had a wonderful time. Kristin is a great host, flexible, smiling and with good advice. The place was very peaceful, quiet. The children loved the ping pong table and enjoyed meeting the donkeys. We went on two beautiful hikes, it was very nice to discover the Ardèche in this way. Very clean and extremely well-equipped house. The view is just beautiful. I recommend +++

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

We had a great stay, the setting is beautiful with a beautiful view and tranquility, the accommodation is perfect and well decorated, we enjoyed the plancha of the hot tub and pool. the host is super responsive to any requests. i highly recommend this place.

Magical stay surrounded by nature and beauty, can't wait to return

We had a great 2 weeks at Steeve's. I came with my husband and our dog to recharge our batteries and go on beautiful hikes. The house and garden are very well furnished. The pool, jacuzzi, and petanque court were very much appreciated! Steeve was great, very responsive to every message, he even dropped off charcoal so we could have a bbq. We can only recommend it! Thanks to Steeve for his kindness, we'll be back with pleasure!

Alison and Costas are a dream team. Excellent hosts with a beautiful chateau for you to enjoy. Aline is great too. You’ll have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Great food and activity recommendations in the booklet. Be sure to visit all the markets you can, and try and eat at Le Flores- which was the perfect lazy lunch venue.

What a gem l'Orangerie is.🍊 A super beautiful and stylish stay in a green environment. Equipped with delicious local soaps, products and even the bedding and towels smell wonderful. Jess & Julian are incredibly hospitable and helpful and made for a carefree vacation! Really recommended to stay here and wonderful to relax and swim in the spacious swimming pool☀️💚 Tim & Stefan

very nice people with love and respect for nature that is reflected in everything. wonderful garden. we felt at home and very welcome. the way up was a challenge for us, but it was doable.

Very good stay, very convenient accommodation, fabulous view from the room, lots of things to see especially around the lake, beautiful region with breathtaking landscapes, the owner and his brother very communicative and friendly. A beautiful courtyard to enjoy a good barbecue provided as well as a beautiful terrace. For access with Waze, Mielerie de Palheres, you arrive at the foot of the accommodation.

Our short stay in Cévenol went perfectly well from our arrival to our departure. Many outdoor and sports activities are close to the cottage. The fact that there is no TV allowed our two teenagers to disconnect and we were able to enjoy family board games evenings (games available in the gite). The cottage is very well-equipped, cozy...it feels like home! Thanks to Mathilde for hosting us.
