Monthly Rentals in Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Valerie and Fabrice were wonderful hosts. Because of travel connections we arrived very late, but they still met us and had also booked ahead to secure a restaurant(La Mule du Pape) for us. The restaurant itself stayed open until 11.30pm as our family was having such a wonderful time.Our hosts were a font of helpful advice about local attractions. Their 3 story village house was just lovely and while an integral part of the old village it still featured all the modern amenities you could wish for. We visited the area from Australia to taste our favourite wines and chose the village of Chateauneuf-du-Pape rather than Avignon, as it is quieter and you can just walk to the dozens of winery outlets that feature free wine tastings. The only vineyard we did visit just outside of the village was 500 year old Chateau La Nerthe whose tour and cellars are amazing!!!! Valerie and Fabrice can point you to just about any of the CNDP wine makers that you care to name!!

Absolutely beautiful apartment in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Arnauld was communicative and helpful throughout our stay, and my family and I really enjoyed our time there. Just a small note, the apartment doesn’t include parking, but there’s plenty of free street parking in the town center, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Highly recommend :)
