Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chatham County

Loved my stay at Justin's! He was such a kind and friendly host and helped me feel at home. The rental was really cute and quirky and had lots of interesting art pieces. The yard was beautiful and private. The screened in porch was great and there were multiple other patios to hang out on. He had pet peacocks that were awesome to watch! Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra linens in the closet. Justin even left us some breakfast food in the fridge! Only thing to be aware of beforehand is there are a lot of stairs you have to climb to get to the rental and it is another family members apartment. Fantastic time overall!

Came in for our daughter's wedding. Nice, clean house. comfortable stay. great bathrooms. Enough beds. Good kitchen with stocked necessities. But I do have to mention a few negative points. The price was too high for the same size house we stayed in in other major cities or even the house our kids stayed in a few miles away in Apex itself. But overall a good stay

Wonderful, unique location. A real NC gem!

Susan’s Pittsboro home was the perfect base for my sister, best friend and me during a long graduation weekend. We loved having the tranquil and spacious setting to get away from the hustle and bustle in Chapel Hill, as we came to celebrate my son’s major milestone. The adorable antique Austin taxicab made for a terrific photo shoot for my graduate in the peaceful country setting. Everything in the house was clean and abundant, and we felt right at home. Susan made us feel like family, sharing fresh eggs and helping us prepare for a storm that we luckily never really had to contend with. I’ll definitely come back!

I needed a quiet escape after a death in my family, and Erin’s place checked all the boxes. The home was clean and cozy. I highly recommend if you need somewhere peaceful to recharge away from it all.

Jacob’s place was great four our group of six. We loved the spacious and beautiful backyard and appreciated the gifts left for us, recommendations, and proactive communication!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage in Sanford, NC. The place was impeccably clean, and the view was beautiful. We especially loved watching the turtles, particularly the one with the distinctive shell pattern. The beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to get out of them each morning. Although we couldn't go fishing or canoeing due to the rain, it made our stay even more relaxing. Being off the grid was a refreshing change, and we thoroughly enjoyed our Father's Day weekend with my son and husband. We're looking forward to returning regularly! We loved our state here. The area was awesome and the house was amazing. Robert is a great host and we will definitely be staying here again on our next trip North Carolina.

This was a beautiful and quiet place to stay. Lorraine kept us informed about anything that we needed to know and was so pleasant to deal with. This was our 2nd time staying there and we will be back again next year. Wonderful experience!

Stayed over Thanksgiving it was in a great location close to other family members as well as restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much, when we are in town again we'll definitely check to see if this location is available to stay at again when we are in town. Tonya was great person to communicate with and quick responses to any questions we had.

I was in Apex for the weekend and my stay was perfect. Everything I needed was close by. Very nice neighborhood and close parks.

This was perfect for us, easy drive to UNC.. (15mins).. private.. really comfortable bed and a fantastic kitchen .. It gives the impression of a place that Shannon and Adam go to a lot of a trouble to ensure is comfortable and tasteful.. Loved it!

This little studio is an excellent getaway. It’s clean, smells good and has a very soft and cozy bed. Some things to know: it’s attached to a main house and you are able to hear folks talking occasionally and the dog barking, so if total silence is what you’re after, this may not be the place. It didn’t bother me at all, though. Also, be aware of the step down when you enter the unit door - it surprised me! The closest grocery store is less than 10-mins away, so if you forget something, it’s an easy jaunt out. Tanelle was super responsive to my questions and check out instructions were easy and clear. I’d absolutely stay again. Thanks, Tanelle!

Velina was great, gave a very detailed list of almost everything and anything to do nearby and farther popular spots in the state. She checked in with us after the first day to make sure everything went smooth, and was very responsive and nice when chatting with. Would stay again!!

Melissa was great and so was the apartment! She was very helpful and responsive. The apartment is located on a beautiful farm with lots of outdoor space. Close enough to town to get what you need quickly and conveniently, and secluded enough to feel like you’re out in your own quiet and peaceful space.
