Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Chaudière-Appalaches

We had a great time. There are many activities in the surrounding area: visit Île-aux-Coudres (30 min.), hike to Mont du Lac des Cygnes (30 min.) and shopping in the town of Baie-St-Paul (10 min.). The beds were very comfortable. The common area is very bright and the small balcony is well oriented to enjoy the sun. A small point to improve is that we would have liked the grass surrounding the outdoor fireplace to be cut as it was long and did not make us want to go there. The description of the chalet accurately reflects what is there. We recommend this cottage!

What a great spot - so peaceful. The house is enormous, inviting, and comfortable. It was just me staying there for one night so way more house than I needed, but it beat the heck out of a hotel for the night. Despite the odd knicks and scratches of an older home, the place is wonderfully clean and the bed I slept in was very comfy - ah the silence of the countryside with the window wide open.

Melanie’s Chalet d’amour was just a lovely place located perfectly between the hiking trails of Sentier du Montagnard and Parc National du Jacques-Cartier. Strongly recommend!

The house is beautifully restored and the beautiful and large plot overlooking the beach makes it a prime location. I have rarely seen a kitchen so well equipped and tidy. The rooms are very comfortable and the open area with windows overlooking the river is great. Excellent communication with Line. I highly recommend it and hope to return!

A chalet perfect for tranquility!

Its a great place inside. Though area felt a bit shady with some homeless people in the area. But its close to the old quebec city. Parking is a downside. But 3 minutes walk isnt terrible if it wasnt raining during out stay.

Outside for aquatic enthusiasts, everything is there. Terrace with fireplace, etc... as shown in the photos. If you are looking for calm, the dock by the lake will delight you; the house is located in the heart of the village which is quite busy and noisy during the day (that's life) but around 8:00 p.m. everything is quieter; everything is central, everything is done on foot, grocery store, etc... You won't have a view of the lake from inside, you have to leave the house and go to the grounds. There was only one exit from the house, no emergency exit, maybe the windows adjacent to the sidewalk were one. I enjoyed my stay, the hosts were very helpful and I recommend it to everyone according to your needs, everything is there.

Very friendly host. Provided us with a deck of cards since we forgot ours and offered to recharge my electric vehicle on site! Comfortable beds. Some refreshments available in the refrigerator. Everything was great!

Beautiful place. Unobstructed view of the river, exactly as in the photos. No smell of sulfur in the water, contrary to what some previous comments said. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it.

We had an amazing stay here! The room was spotless, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly and always happy to help. The location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet at night. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the city

We had a lovely stay. The beds are comfortable. The space is perfect for 4-6 people. Everything was very clean and a lot of ditems are at our disposal to make our stay more pleasant such as robes, board games, colored pencils, some spices, ice cream, etc.
